I was throwing clothes in my suitcase, not really caring what I was bringing. I got the quickest flight to leave which was in about an hour so I had to hurry up and get there.

I heard the front door open and then Niall's loud laughter fill's the air. I didn't want him to know that I was leaving because he would tell Harry.

"Brooke!" I heard Ellie call out.

"In my room!" I called back to her.

I heard the footsteps come closer and in a few seconds both of them appeared at my door.

"Hey...what are you doing?" She asked while looking a bit nervous as she spotted the full suitcase.

"Uhh. Well I am going home until Monday." I said while walking into my bathroom and getting my toothbrush and other things.

From the corner of my eye I saw Niall give Ellie a nervous glance and I could tell that she was becoming more worried for me.

"Why?" She asked.

"I want to get away from here for a few days. I will be back by Monday, don't worry."

I looked in my suitcase and saw that it was full to the rim which meant I probably had enough of what I needed and if not there was still some stuff in my old bedroom.

"I'm taking a bus to the airport so I will see you Monday, I guess. Sorry for the late notice."

"I can drive you." Niall said.

"No its ok."

"Seriously its fine." He grabbed his keys.

I got my coat and then gave Ellie a hug before I walked out and got into Niall's car. He started driving after I made sure I had everything and within minutes we were flying down the road, heading straight towards the airport.

The ride was quite and I didn't know what to say. Niall was a great guy but it was awkward between him and me and the whole break up with Harry made it worse.

"I know you still love him." He says out of no where.

I didn't respond but I saw his hands grip the wheel in frustration.

"You shouldn't leave him. You two...you two are meant for each other. I know it...I can tell. Just...just don't give up on him yet. He loves you more than he has ever loved anyone else." He said.

I wiped the tears that were falling from my face and tried to hold the rest in as I heard him talk. I didn't want to hear about how much Harry loves me because it only makes me feel worse.

The rest of the ride was silent and when I got to the airport he helped me get my suitcase out.

"Are you sure you want to do this? We can turn around and go back to his place." Niall said.

"Niall. It's over."

He looks a little shocked at my words and I grabbed the suitcase, walking away. I felt bad for being rude but I was tired of hearing about if I really wanted to do what I did. I wanted to go, but deep down I knew I didn't.

The airport wasn't that busy which was good and allowed me to get through the security faster. I sat down by the gate and decided to finally check twitter. I had lost a bunch of followers but none of that mattered to me. What mattered to me was what people were saying.

The words were absolutely horrible and I knew that they were true. I had ended it and I felt bad but I didn't want to see the nasty words. I looked around and realized that this was the moment where I wished Harry would come running up to me, begging me to stay. He didn't and as I walked on to the plane I felt stupid for even thinking about it.

"Hey!" My mom calls out to me as she spots me in the crowd.

I rubbed my eyes and walked over to her. She gave me a hug and my dad took my bags.

"How are you doing?" She asked me as we walked to go get the rest of my luggage.

I laughed at her question and just respond with "All right", even though it was a lie.

We waited until my suitcases finally arrived. It felt weird on the ride home because I hadn't been there in so long. I was so use to the beautiful London streets that I found it odd to look at my old ones that used to be so familiar to me.

It was strange that so much could change in just two months. I never thought it was possible until I met Harry. I felt my heart tighten as I thought of him and wished I could be in his arms again.

Within an hour I was back at home and I went straight to my room. My parents could tell I was out of it but knew why and not to bother me too much about it.

I set my bags down and looked around at my old room. It made me sad that it felt weird to be in here. I looked around and saw all of the old pictures from high school and all of the friends that I don't even talk to anymore.

Behind all of the pictures was one of me and Derek. I laughed at the expression we were making.

It was weird how much I loved him and how I thought I could never love anyone more but then Harry came along and changed that up. I rolled my eyes as I think how stupid I was for being tricked by Derek.

I sat on my bed and realized how comfy it was. I forgot how comfy it was, actually I had forgotten a lot of things about my home. I felt like I was laying on a cloud and within minutes I fell asleep, thinking of nothing but Harry.

*****

I woke up and hear a loud banging coming from my kitchen and I wanted it to stop. I was having a wonderful dream about Harry and being with him again until some loud noise made me jump up from my sleep.

I decided to get out of bed to see what was going on and as I rounded the corner I heard my parents whispering.

"I can't tell her! She will be angry!" My mother said.

"She needs to know." My dad mentioned.

I walked out and see them sitting on the couch, still whispering.

"Know what?" I asked.

"Hey do you mind if I get some water?" I heard a familiar voice say.

My body stiffens as I remember that voice. The voice that was once so dear to me and made my heart skip a beat. The voice that once made me have butterflies to no end but also the voice that told only lies.

"Derek." I said as I see him standing in the doorway.

"Brooke. I didn't know you were back from London yet." He said with a smile.

"Uhm. Yeah, just for the weekend." I said.

"Derek is fixing our patio in the back." My mom said, clearly nervous.

"Oh."

I got to the kitchen and realized he followed me. I was confused and turned around to give him a look.

"Just getting water."

"Oh." I said again.

My heart was beating ten times faster than normal and I see him staring at me in a weird way. I realized I was in front of the fridge and was about to move until he moved around me and got the cup, then got some water from the sink.

"How have you been?" He asked.

"Uhm. Good."

He gave me a smile and I realized his arms have gotten more muscular. He lifts his glass up with his left hand and I saw a gold band on the finger, nearest to the pinky.

"You're married?" I said while trying to remember to breathe.
