It's been a few weeks since Erik and I hooked up. Mystique, left after the choking incident to "go on a mission". Hank and Logan went with her, even though Raven insisted that she go alone. I guess you don't always get what you want. Unless your name is Erik and you can control metal.
"Erik, for once in your life, could you help me shelf these books?" I ask promptly. Erik, who can be selfish at times, walked out on the balcony.
"Sorry, (Y/N), but I have things to do and such little time to do it." He answers. I grumble and continue stacking dozens of books. Charles wants the place to be clean for when some C.I.A members visit. Erik walks into the closet and pulls out his Magneto suit and sets it on the leather couch. He pulls off his shirt and reveals his buff chest, which he doesn't do a lot compared to Logan. He unbuckles his belt and retreats to the closet.
"Do you really want to stay for those fools to come patrolling the house?" He calls from the closet. I stack a few more books.
"Of course not." I reply casually. He walks back out to get his suit in his grey boxers. I peek through the shelf and smile before going back to shelving books.
"Then why are you staying and shelling Charles's old books?" He asks, pulling the suit up. I sigh and lean over to look at him.
"I don't know. I just wanted to help a friend out, ya know?" I say. It was true, I did want to leave, but Charles had strict rules.
"You don't owe him this. You do, however, owe me a date." He flirts. I smile wide behind the book shelf. The metal ladder under me shifts a little. Erik balances it back for me.
"A date, huh? And what would this date be?" I ask playfully. He pulls the tight sleeves over his arms. He looks up at the bookshelf, grinning.
"A fantastic night with me up on the satellite. Alone, just the two of us. And I'll," he says, fixing the armor plates, "get to see those pretty (E/C) eyes of yours, my mistress." It always melts my heart when he calls me that. When he calls me his.
"It sounds wonderful, Erik," I say fondly, "but why are you wearing your suit?" I ask curiously as he finishes suiting up.
"When I said I have things to do, I meant I have a mission to do. There's a bounty hunter looking for mutants. All mutants. I plan on finding him and giving him his punishment. But, he's tricky to find, so I'll have to go through multiple stops before reaching him." Erik says seriously. I know this is important to him and all mutants, and I would help at any cost.
"Did you tell Charles?" I ask. Just as I knew he would, he shook his head no. I nod solemnly and climb down the ladder. "Let me help you." He walks over to me and looks in my eyes.
"No. You'll be killed. You're not ready." He heads for the door. I stumble and try again.
"What? You can't go alone! You'll find him easier with my help." I press. Erik turns back to me and looks me in the face.
"I said No." He finishes the conversation and leaves the room. I frown and droop my shoulders. I walk over to the closet and fold his clothes that he sat on the drawer. I need to help Erik, at any cost. He can't go alone and I won't be able to live with myself if anything were to happen to him.
I suit up in my black and grey spandex suit, and pull my black leather gloves over my hands. My shin high boots get pulled over my shin guards. Reminds me of gearing up for a soccer game.
Once dressed, I jump off the balcony and follow Erik at a distance as he flies away. It'll be easy to find him by his hot temperature in the spandex.

Erik stopped by a facility and picked up his anti-telepathic metal helmet. He set it on his head and kept moving. I had to keep farther away so he doesn't detect the metal on my boots and utility belt.
Then, he was on the move. If Erik catches me, he'll be really upset with me. He'll probably send me home and order Charles to watch me, cut I can't afford that kind of casualty. It's for him.
