"I swear it's not like she says! Guys! Listen to me"

Scarlet looked at me pained "I'm sorry Kai but all the evidence points against you, please don't make this harder than it already is"

I let her pull me from the ground and drag me to the prison. "Please Scar you know me I would never do anything without a reason. Please just ask Raelyn, she was with me."

"Oh you had a reason you are the spy and Willow was on your trail that would explain why you're always missing. And oh Rae will be questioned then thrown into jail if we don't like her answers" she shoved me into a cell and locked it without looking back she left.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Raelyn was my only hope to get me out of here, if they don't throw her down here first.

"So. What are you down here for?" a voice to my left startled me and I saw a boy a little older than me in torn clothes. His blonde hair was smudged with dirt and so was his face. He had dull green eyes that seemed to stare straight into me. "I beat up a spy but she got to them first to tell them what happened, so now I'm the spy and beat her up because she was 'on my trail' " I sighed. This was utter crap. I knew nothing about the jail's I didn't even know if they would feed and water us. I looked around for a toilet and saw a hole in the corner. Shit.

"They feed us. Its crap food but it's something and we get water every once in a while and you already saw the toilet" did he read my mind? Was that his power? "No I didn't read your mind, I could just tell from your expression" I nodded.

"So what are you in here for?" I was curious to know if I was staying in the same cell as a killer.

"Oh I didn't do anything. Like you, I was accused but it wasn't true. They thought I was planning to kill Ethan Tharks." 

Wow so apparently a lot of people got thrown in here under false accusations.

"Is there a cot or anything to sleep on?" I was not going to sleep on the floor.

He pointed to one of the walls where one cot. Only one. Were we going to have to share this bed? Oh no I didn't even know him. "There's one cot. But it's big enough for both of us you're lucky I'm even sharing I could easily make you sleep on the floor princess" 

I frowned at that "Princess? Really? And I am not sleeping in the same bed as you. For all I know you could rape me" 

He chuckled at that. "Yes, princess, because you are probably disgusted by the thought of peeing in a hole and sleeping on the floor. You probably have never even got your hands dirty before, so sorry princess but that's how things work down here. And for the rape thing, I guess you don't know that I won't, but you are just gonna have to trust me" I scowled at him and he walked over and lad on the bed. He held his arms out mockingly asking me to join him.

Still scowling I moved to the other side of the cell and sat down reluctantly. He burst out laughing "HA! She actually sits on the floor. Scared you're going to get your little pants dirty?" 

I didn't respond and he lay down and closed his eyes. I sat in silence listening to him breathe and when I was certain he was asleep I got up and crawled onto the cot, making sure I wasn't touching him. A small chuckle escaped from his lips his eyes still closed. I turned away from him and closed my eyes.
