Skitzophrenia takes over

That night I dreamt of Quinn, She was waving to me and motioning me towards her. When I walked to her the dream erupted in a flash of light and I woke to someone shaking me. 

That someone was Scarlet "Kai! Kai! Hurry Quinn is awake, I think Dakota did something to wake her" she ran out of the room as soon as she saw my eyes open and I rushed out after her. 

I made my way to the infirmary where Quinn was at and I found her sitting up with Raelyn, Scar, Kota, Ethan and a few other agents I knew briefly. I tried to rush forward to give her a hug but Ethan stopped me "wait. She just woke up we need to get her stabilized" 

Instead I went over to Dakota "what did you do?" 

he looked up and I noticed he had been crying. He led be to the back of the room " the thing is I don't know what I did, one moment I was studying her vitals and the next she was having a seizure, then she woke up. I think it was that stuff Scarlet gave to her. But we can't tell Ethan. They would toss me in jail if they knew I used an unknown product on her, I told them she just randomly woke up and that the spell or whatever went away" 

I nodded and moved to grab Scarlet into a hug when I saw her shaking and wanting to hold her sister. Dakota moved to Quinn's side and plugged in an IV and checked her over. When Ethan and his goons got bored they left the five of us together and we exchanged hugs to Quinn. Scarlet shoved us all out of the way and dragged her twin to the barracks. When we asked what had happened Quinn just shook her head and told us she didn't want to talk about it. 

"Quinn so know that you're up and all good what do you want to do?" I asked

"well I would really like to train I hope I didn't get too much out of shape ha-ha"

 we all laughed. There was no way Q would ever be out of shape. Quinn and scarlet dressed in their matching sweats and tank tops, Rae put on spandex and a long shirt and Kota just wore baggy pants. I followed them to the training room in my regular jeans and sweater. 

When we got there the twins automatically grabbed katana's off the weapon rack, Rae lingered then grabbed a dagger and Dakota took a small spear. the twins split up and Scar went to Raelyn to spar and Quinn took on Kota. I sat back and watched them move. The twins were obviously the best fighters and they moved like dancers, Rae was a little bit more ridged but she was fast and was able to get in a few jabs until Scarlet hit her with the butt of the katana and knocked her down. A small gasp escaped my mouth as Rae hit the ground with a thump, then Scar helped her up and stood back to watch Q and Kota fight.

Kota had the longer weapon but it was mostly a defense weapon. He was slow and big but he was stronger. He hit Quinn in the side with his spear and went on attack forcing Quinn to block his strokes. He was smart and he knew how Quinn was all offense and was rubbish at defense. Quinn ducked a blow to her head and swiped Dakota's feet from under him with the flat of her sword. The twins high fived each other and went off to spar with each other. 

Kota left to get water and Rae stood and looked at me "want to spar?" 

I used to fight. When they thought I had powers they trained me to fight but then it turned out I was ordinary and stopped my training. I nodded, Raelyn was the easiest of my friends to fight and, why not, I haven't been in a fight for a while. I walked over to the rack and pulled off a few throwing knives, those were my preferred weapons, and walked over to where Rae was waiting. Everyone in the training room stopped to watch.

I took up a stance and waited for her to attack first. I side stepped her thrust with her dagger, I came up behind her and sliced with my knife at her arm, luckily she moved out of the way. She came at me again and swung with a fist and the hilt of her dagger. I took the hit in my arm and kicked her in the stomach. She flew back and hit the wall. In one fluid motion I threw a knife and it thudded into the wall pinning her there by her shirt. I walked up and pressed the knife to her throat. "god I missed this" we laughed as I removed my knife from her shirt and the wall.

"nice job I actually thought you would be rusty" she laughed and pounded me on the shoulder. Quinn walked up with a wicked gleam in her eye and I knew I wasn't going to like where this was going to go. " we should spar. You said you missed it. Come on let's do it" with everyone staring I couldn't just say no.

"sure why not. Let me just grab a different weapon I need a bigger reach with your katana" she nodded and I set my knives down and picked out two sai's. we stood in the center of the matt and waited for the other to attack first. Because she was better at offense I attacked first and made her play defense. I swung a underhand cut at her chin which she took, her head knocked sideways and before I even knew what happened she was attacking. She swung at my waist and I turned to the side, but not quick enough, she cut a gash on my ribs. She came again with a swing to my face, I crouched and pounded her knees with my sai. Her knees buckled and I stepped back. She came on attack again I blocked and caught her weapon in the hooks of the sai I shoved her backwards and hit her in the gut with the hilt. She doubled over and then swung out with her elbow which caught me in the jaw. As I was recovering from that hit he swung again at my temple with her fist and I blacked out.
