Today was the day. I was finally getting married. And to the one person I wanted to marry. Walking down the aisle to The Point Of It All by Anthony Hamilton, there was nothing but a big ass smile on my face. I love him and he loves me and this was supposed to be happening. Our son and daughter being apart of the wedding is just so beautiful and I look beautiful. And my soon to be husband, well he looks scrumptious. Can't wait till the honeymoon.

"Do you Carter Queen Townsend take August Anthony Alsina as your lawfully wedded husband?" The preacher asked.

"I do." I smiled.

"And August Anthony Alsina Jr. take; y'all got some long names, Jesus; anyway. You take her as your wife?" The preacher questioned.

"Yes, I do." He smiled.

"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

That was it. The moment that changed our lives. August and I were finally married. Finally happy.

Some Weeks Later

"Babe, I gotta go on tour for This Thing Called Life will you be okay by yourself?" August asked me.

"I'll be fine. Try to FaceTime me as much as you can when you're gone. I know you'll be busy. One day the kids and I will surprise you on a show day." I smiled and kissed him.

Laying in our bed, in our house, in Atlanta, August and I decided it was best to be where the music was.

"Also I can get.." He cut me off.

"You ain't getting no damn job Cata." He looked at me and put my fingers through his hair.

"And why not? You know I hate being in the house." I told him.

"You can leave, just can't find a job. All the money I'm making is taking care of us."

"That's your money. Not my money." Soon after I said that Queen and Roland came running into our room.

"Mommy! Guess what!" Roland said out of breath.

Laughing, I answered him saying, "What Ro?"

"Dada is on TV!" He said jumping up and down.

August and I looked at each other with confused looks as to why he would be on TV. Walking down to the living room, we saw that the television was on BET.

"What the hell y'all think y'all doing watching BET?" He questioned our children.

"Who is this young lady seen around with August Alsina? Friend? Girlfriend? Something more than that?" The commentator said.

It was a picture of him and some random chick, walking around. I raised my eyebrow and looked at him.

"Babe, I promise I'm not cheating on you. She was just an aspiring artist and I just let her shadow me y'know?" He told me, trying not to panic, knowing that would be his ass.

"Better be." I went back upstairs and laid on my bed.

I knew August wouldn't cheat on me, I just wanted him to cater to me for a little since he's gonna be gone.

He soon walked in and laid his body on top of mine.

"Cata, I'm only faithful to you." He mumbled against my chest.

"I know." I smiled. "I kinda wanted to give you a hard time, but you smell and look so damn good, I can never stay mad at you babe."

He leaned up and kissed me.

"I love you Cata."

"I love you too Aug."

I knew that we were supposed to end up like this, married with children, in love, and happy as fuck.

So I know I've been MIA, college calls. And I'm a music major so I'm always busy. [insert rolling eye emoji.] So I felt like updating and that's what I did. So here's to the end of Turn Out The Stars.
