"Baby." Aug called me.
"Yes?" I looked up from my math book.
"You been doing that since you got home, take a break." He smiled.
"If I take a break I won't finish." I went back to what I was doing.
"What you doing anyway?" He asked.
"Adding and Subtracting rational expressions. You wanna learn?" I looked up at him.
"I guess." He took a sheet of my paper and one of my pencils. "Teach."
"Uh uh! You are not my master and I am not your dog!"
"I'm sorry baby, can you please teach me?"
"Yeah."
Showing him how to do my homework he just looked at me.
"What?"
"Nothing." He smiled.
"Uh huh." I kept doing my homework and then August attacked me. "August!"
"What?" He started kissing my neck.
"I need to finish my homework."
"Finish it later." He kissed my chest, leaving his mark.
"Aug I-"
"I love you too."
"You love me?" He was the first to say it not me.
"Yeah, I love you. Ya grandma home?"
"I love you too August." I pushed him back a little bit.
"Is ya grandma home?" He was more aggressive this time.
"She at bible study right now, but August I'm not ready to have sex yet."
"Whenever you ready we can always go to Mel's house." He kissed my cheek and laid beside me.
"Ima get a tattoo." I looked at him.
"Of what?" He asked.
"I dunno yet, but it's gone be special."
"Ima get a tattoo. SELF MADE on my side burns." He put his head on my chest.
"Know you can't get a job right?" I played in his hair.
"I'll use ya makeup." We laughed, he knew that I didn't wear makeup.
"I love you Aug."
"Love you too Cata."
"Girl, you aight?" Justice asked.
"Yeah just thinking about some ish that's all."
"How was the date with Mr. Washington?"
"It was good, he's a real gentleman."
"Oh ok... You know August Alsina was here right?" She questioned, but I already knew that.
"Oh forreal?" I played along. I couldn't tell her what's going on between me and August.
"Yeah, but he didn't perform. I sure wish that I could've seen him. Woulda been all up under that." She was writing something down.
"I bet you would have." I shook my head.
"Stop giving me short answers. You acting like you and him in a relationship!"
"I just don't see what all the hype is about. He not that cute." I lied.
