When life simmers down, when the days pass without a sound
The need to feel a rush anchors down, consuming, eating, corroding away
At the will to live to see another dayJump behind the wheel, here we go
Driving fast, never too slow
The beat of the pulse, coursing through veins
Taking the last of the will to see another light of day
Faster, faster, come on let's goFull speed ahead down this dangerous road
The rushing wind tunneling through deaf ears,
Carrying a warning no one would hear
Pulsing, pulsing, beating on the drums
Boom, boom, boom, the sound of the heart
Closer, closer, are we now, ready to take the final bowFeeling so alive, no longer feeling the restrictions of time
Nor the pain of barrenness so great, so vastDriving fast, an attempt to make this feeling last.....
Only ended in a crash
