I never thought things would end this way
I never meant for it to hurt like this
It was supposed to be a happy ending
But the past caught up and strangled our throats
Crushed the hope that once lived inside
Broke a heart thats broken too many times
And turned once vibrant eyes lifeless
And all the good things died
