Vibrations felt across an old oak table
A reaching hand limply grasps
Drained of the life it once had
Pictures are worth a thousand words
Or so they sayBut pictures weave clever lies
Leading to this dismayLove is like a flame or so they say
But it is a spark that first ignites the flamesConnections lost when the plug was pulled
Conversations put on hold
A little picture, stupid picture
Creating a deadly cocktail mixture
