Chappie 10
Stella POV
I took the first leap forward with flaming fists that were ready to burn her. The guards present in the room couldn’t stop the fight now, not in the rage I'm in. Nichole held up her nun chucks to block the flaming fist aimed for her gut even though they didn’t do much to help. My fist bounced off the nun chucks but left the wood cracked and on fire. She tossed them aside seeing as though she couldn’t use them anymore.
My next target was her face. With a wild grin stretched across my face I drew back my left fist to prepare for the pleasant impact. Upon seeing this, my dear sister reached down to her left side to pull out a Heckler and Koch .45 pistol. The click of the hammer tickled my ears to the point where I actually laughed. Nichole was slow in aiming but managed to dodge my fist and deflect it to her shoulder instead. At the same time her finger slipped on the trigger and the bullet grazed my cheek. I stumbled back to prevent any further damage from another bullet.
Her clothing was set on fire and I'm sure a bone in her shoulder cracked. My cheek was stinging like crazy and I could feel the warm blood dripping down the side of my face and off my chin. She screamed at the searing flames licking her skin through the burned clothing. Since Nichole’s right shoulder was rendered just as useless as her previous weapon, she switched the gun to her left hand to aim at my head at the same time I made a move to grab her neck.
“It’s time to die b*tch.” The words seeped out my mouth as I tightened my grip around her neck more by the second.
I can practically smell the fear rolling off her in waves but despite that, she still had the courage to utter a comeback. “Not before I shoot you first.”
It all seemed to happen in slow motion from here. One claw grazed the skin of her throat and the trigger was pulled. The bullet glided out the barrel, gun powder trailing behind it, towards my left eye. My clawed hands were enclosing on their desired target, the fire emitting from them intensifying in anticipation. Each deadly object almost reaching their destinations until dark electricity erupted from the collar around my neck. I was able to ignore it before, but I couldn’t this time.
The electricity stunned my muscles and forced me to drop on the floor as dead weight. The bullet just missed my ears and my hands only succeeded in giving Nichole a scratch and burn to the throat. The electricity formed a jagged light blue cross that stuck itself into my back to keep me down. It definitely hurt but at least I can still breathe. The now stray bullet whizzed through the panicking crowd and imbedded itself in the wall next to the door that just opened to reveal Chief and the Headmistress.
Third Person POV
“ENOUGH!” The Headmistress shouted in rage once in the room with power behind her voice. The room fell silent except for the crackle of electricity from the girl’s collar. Ms. Belmont stalked into the cafeteria, the Commander and other guards following closely behind. She narrowed her eyes at the girl on the ground and the other with the gun still held up in the air. She was disappointed in the both of them, needless to say. She hadn’t thought that any of her beloved students would ever fight so harshly and with such aggression that they would attempt to kill each other!
