Thankfully I woke up on time this morning. I threw on a pair of black leggings and a pink sweater with white polka dots. I put on light pink lipstick and some eyeliner and mascara after applying a small amount of foundation and such. After a few minutes, I finally decided on how to do my hair. I plug my curling iron in and let heat up before touching up my loose curls from the previous night. Smiling at myself through the mirror, I decide that I'm ready. Quickly, I make my way downstairs and grab an apple before putting on my white converse. I shove my house keys into my purse and put my phone in my back pocket. I hear a honk outside and release a breath of relief.
I walkout of the front door, locking it behind me. I get into the passengers seat, placing my backpack on the floor. "Hi." I say a bit breathlessly. "Hey. You ready?" Quinten asks me. I nod and he begins driving to school. "You look really nice today." He compliments. I feel my face heat up. "T-Thanks, you too. N-Not that you don't look nice any other day! I just mean that-" Quinten cuts off my ramble. "It's fine. Thanks." He says with a laugh. I stare down at my lap and nod. I take a risky glance towards him and notice that his cheeks are also a light shade of red. I look back down.
After a few minutes we both gain back our composure and start talking again. "So, are you looking forward to English this morning?" He asks me. I look at him, confused. "You seriously didn't realize?" "Realize what?" I ask. "That I'm in your English class, silly!" He exclaims with a deep chuckle. My eyes widen. "No way, you're in my English class?!" I exclaim. He nods. "Yup." "Huh. You're right. I never noticed." I reply sheepishly. The rest of the ride to school is filled with conversation. When we get to school, Quinten opens the door for me. "Thank you, kind sir." I say with a smile. "Anything for you, madam." He replies. We both burst out laughing. "Okay, enough with that." I say, still giggling. We walk in together and I spot Gage talking to Molly by our lockers. A smile covers both of their faces as they talk. "That, I completely agree with." Quinten says. We walk over to the happy couple after I put my stuff away.
"Hey." I say. "Hey?" Molly replies in a questionable tone. "What?" I ask slowly. She points behind me, at Quinten. "What's Quinten doing he-" Her sentence is cut off by an overly happy boy charging towards me. "Braelynn!" Rowan exclaims as he artacks me in a bone crushing hug. I hug him back, but not as hard, seeing as I was about to suffocate. "Hey, Rowan! Do you think you could let go though, I'm about to suffocate..." I trail off. He lets go immediately. "Sorry!" Rowan apologizes, scratching the back of his head.
"I'm confused." Molly says. Gage nods his head. "What happened?" I look at Quinten. He motions for me to explain. "Ah yes, so yesterday during photography class I 'bonded' with Quinten and he invited to go to the diner to hang out with some of his friends so I agreed. There I met Rowan," I gesture towards Rowan who had his arm around my waist again. "and those two. Emma and Xander." I say and point to the couple who just showed up. Gage and Xander do the same handshake hug thing that Quinten did with the boys last night. Molly nods before speaking again. "I'll see you at lunch?" She asks. "Yup." I say. "Don't forget to bring your boyfriend." I say with a smirk. "Same to you my dear." She says with the same tone before walking away.
I roll my eyes and smile a bit. Rowan turns towards me and wraps both his arms around my waist and burying his face into the crook of my neck. "Braelynn, do I have to go to class?" He asks me. I could feel the heat in my face growing with every passing second. "Y-Yes. You do. Come on, Rowan." I stutter. He groans and I can feel his warm breath on my neck. "Fine." He says after a few moments and has to practically force himself off of me. "What's your first class?" I ask. "English." Rowan replies. "Follow me then. Quinten and I are in that class!" I say and grab Rowan's hand, leading him through the crowded hallway. I stop at the door leading into our English room. "Here we are." I say and look behind me at Rowan. He shot me his wonderfully boyish grin before speaking. "Thanks, Braelynn." I nod. "N-No problem."

The day is pretty boring. That is, until lunch. I love lunch. Okay, I love food. I walk down to the cafeteria with a bounce in my step. "What's got you glowing?" I hear a voice beside me ask. I turn my head and look to my left, not expecting to see Xander there. "I really like lunch." I say after I get over my shock. He laughs. "What class do you have next?" Xander asks me. "Maths." I reply, rolling my eyes. Maths is not a favorite of mine. "Hey, me too." He says. "The teacher is going to hate you for not coming to school yesterday." I say to Xander as we enter the cafeteria. I lead him over to where I usually sit with Molly, assuming that we would all be sitting together. "I can handle that." He answers with a smirk. I laugh. "Have fun." A smile is plastered on my face. When we reach the lunch table, I see Gage, Molly, Emma, and Rowan already there. Xander immediately walks over to Emma, giving her a kiss. It honestly took everything in me not to aww.
"Hey." I say to Molly, Gage, and Rowan as I sit down. "Braelynn!" Molly squeals and pulls me into a hug. I smile and hug her back. "Guess what?" She asks with a huge smile. "What?" She leans in closer. "Gage and I are officially back together." She announces quietly to me, a huge grin on her bright face. I pull her into another hug. "I'm so happy for you, Molly." I say quietly. After a moment I let go. I give her a reassuring smile. "Guys, we should go somewhere this weekend!" Rowan suggests just as Quinten walks up. "Like?" He asks Rowan after sitting down next to me. "Well, I was actually thinking about..."
