Shining Black Eyes

Andy's pov

It was 4 in the morning when I decided to go feed. Seeing as the band had been touring for around a week now, I was messed up. My eating and hunting schedule had been neglected wich forced me to come up with a new excuse for not eating every other day. My stomach grumbled so hard it pained me and even I felt like I was dying inside, even though we all know, I can't. See I've been living with a so called 'secret' for a couple of years now. Well, more than a couple to be exact. Around 170 years. Yeah, that's right. I'm a vampire.

Anyhow, back to the story. I took my time to quickly comb through my black locks and pull on a jacket before leaving the bus. We were parked somewhere on a parking lot that was rented for our bus and a few other tour buses. I stepped outside and greeted our security guard. "Andy?" he asked. "What're you doing out so late?" I simply shrugged and replied: "Meh, I just couldn't sleep. I'm gonna go for a walkw okay?" He nodded. "Be safe" I smiled as I stuffed my hands in my pockets and left off. He was seriously the best security guard we could wish.

I made my way around town, remembering where we drove and where I saw a small forest somewhere. When I had finally reached the place I was looking for, I was relieved.

As I walked in the forest, I looked around only to see no one was around an quickly used my powers to jump in a tree. I sat in there for at least half an hour with my ears wide open and my stomach grumbling. I was just about to give up and return to the bus when I picked up a sound. The sound of branches snapping under something-or someone's steps. I listened carefully, soon navigating that the sound was coming from behind me. As I silently turned around in the tree I saw a human silhouette coming my way. I bit my lip, debating with myself.

"It has been so long" The hunger inside of me said. "You can't eat one equal to you!" The human in me said. "But it smells so delicious!" The hunger once again spoke. I closed my eyes as I sniffed up the smell, coming closer and closer now. I nodded, agreeing with the hunger. "You're going to regret this!" My human side said again. "I don't care" I said out loud, grinning. With my eyes closed, I could feel this person's heart pumping blood through its veins.

The hunger in me took over as I lost complete control. I felt my bright blue eyes change into their true black color, increasing my hunger even more. I patiently waited for my prey to be close enough for me to attack it and as soon as it was, I attacked. I jumped down from the tree, expertly landing and squating down, careful to not break my feet and quickly stood up again, using my powers to run op to the person and grab them by the shoulders, shoving them in the nearest tree.

I immediately guided my face to the man's neck, grazing my teeth over it's skin when he spoke up. "Andy?" He asked. At that moment, my mind was racing. He knew my name? I took a step back only to recognize the man as Ashley. I gasped, immediately looking away. A little bit of my human side came back. I needed to let him go. It took alot from me to pull myself away from him. "Ashley you need to go" I said through gritted teeth, my eyes closed and turned away from him only to prevent him from seeing my eyes or my fangs. "Andy, what are you doing here so early? And where'd you suddenly come from?" He asked, sounding very confused. I groaned as I felt my hunger dominating my feelings. "Ashley, leave!" I yelled. "What the hell, Andy! What's going on? Why did you attack me like that? You actually scared the shit out of me!" I sighed, hearing my vocal chords tremble. "You need to leave. It's dangerous out here" I told him, trying to contain myself. "Fine if you come with me and explain to me why you're even here?" He said, sassily as he crossed his arms and started tapping his foot. "I can't tell you that" I said. Ashley groaned before stepping closer to me. He grabbed my arm and tugged it towards him, pissing me off. I turned towards him. My eyebrows knit together and my eyes open wide, I hissed and showed off my teeth. As he watched me carefully, his face paled. "Y-You're eyes" He whispered staring in them. And your teeth" He continued. "Get lost" I snarled at him. His eyebrows knit together. "No reason to be such a meanie" He told me, making me roll my eyes. It got quiet as the both of us just stood there watching each other. His heart was racing, I felt the pace at wich it pumped blood through Ashley's body. For a second, I thought. He's such a weak man. He would be so easy to dominate and kill. I loved the thought of how easy it would be for me to break him. "How long has it been? I mean.. since you.. Ate?" He questioned. I shrugged. "A few days. You should leave, Ashley" I told him. He shook his head. "No. You're weak.. well weaker than usual. I hate seeing you suffer like this. You're my best friend" He told me stepping closer to me, allowing a mesmerizing smell to enter my nose. I took a step back and he soon followed again. "Andy-" "You smell so delicious" I cut him off, licking my lips. "Drink from me" he said, his voice small. "Please. You're my best friend-I.. I want to help you" Shaking my head, I turned away from him. "No. No I can't do that. I won't be able to control myself, Ashley" It wasn't long until I felt his arms wrap around my torso from the back of me and his head lingered on my shoulder. "Andy.. I want you to drink from me" i bit my lip, trying to resist. He took one of my hands and gueded it to his neck. With my hands I felt the heartbeat in his neck and soon I was not to be stopped. 'He wanted this' is what I kept repeating in my head.
