Robin x chubby child reader

For those of us who feel like we're not cute or pretty. I thought about this just now. This will probably short and sweet (maybe not short, idk). Enjoy. :)

Your dad had noticed that you started acting weird. Not the good weird you were, just... strange... You were not his happy little girl whenever you came home from school and he wanted to know why.

Robin's POV

It's been 3 days. Whenever I ask (y/n) what's wrong, she looks like she's about to start crying and says it's fine. Today is the day I find out what's really happening. I decided to pick her up early.

Your POV

I'm kinda glad I'm friends with some of the big kids. Especially (best/friend's/name). (S)He even gave me a key to his/her locker so I could hide. (Girl/you/hate) was chasing me again. She always picks on me because I'm not as cute as her... "Heeeeeeeeey!!!!! (Y/n), where are you!!!!!!!~ You can't hide forever!!!" I grabbed my phone to text dad. (Yes you're like 5 and have a phone)

* Dad, can u pick me up early?

♪Sure, what happened?

* They're picking on me...

♪I'll be there in a bit, okay?

* KK

As soon as I his my phone again, (g/y/h) found me getting out of the locker. "Hey, stupid! Did you know you have to be at least half as pretty as me to be here?" I was about to run the other way until... "(Y/n)?" I turned around to see dad. I looked at (g/y/h) who just paled and turned tail. After dad telling the principal what happened, he took me to an ice cream shop and bought me my favorite. When we got home, he started the Q and A "What happened with the girl?" "She started to say mean stuff about me... L-like I-I'm not as c-cute as her or p-pretty or... Or... Or sh-she'd say I'm f-fat and not w-worth a-anyone's time." At this point, I was sobbing and dad dragged me into a hug.

Robin's POV

How can kids this young be so cruel to each other?! I pull her into a hug. "(Y/n)..." She looks up at me once she calms down a bit. "Y-yes?" "You should never let anyone else hurt you liked this. You are not fat, just chubby, which is cute with a little extra to love. (yeah, I kinda tell myself this bit... Chubby=cute+more to love about the person.) If this ever happens again, tell me first, okay?" "Okay!"

3rd person POV

And for the rest of the day, you both hung out together and the incident never repeated itself again.
