You and Luke had been dating for almost a year now.
You had a close guy friend who was starting to develop feelings for you. Your guy friend came over to your house one night to study with you for a big test you were having the next day. You told Luke that it was just to study and he had nothing to worry about.
Luke could tell your friend had feelings for you and he was getting more and more protective of you.
You and your friend were sitting on the floor with your books spread out in front of you. You were sitting next to your friend asking him some questions from a study guide.
"Hello?" You look up at him waiting for him to answer your question. You look up to catch him staring at you.
"(His name)?" You ask confused.
Your friend quickly leans in and kisses you on the lips and you pull back in shock.
You quickly stand up, "what are you doing?! You know I love Luke!"
You are so furious you almost start to cry. You can't believe your friend just did that! What was Luke going to say? This was the exact thing that he was afraid of, but you had to tell him. You promised to ALWAYS be honest with eachother.
*Next Day*
You're at school talking to Luke by your locker. You quietly tell him about what happened last night.
"Out of no where he just kissed me Luke, He caught me off guard but I pulled away from him. I don't like him like that. Luke you have to believe me, I love you and only you."
By the look on Luke's face you could tell he was getting angrier and more upset. You tried to comfort him when your "friend" came up behind you. You knew it was him when you saw the disgusted look on Luke's face.
Quickly it turned into him and Luke in each other's faces yelling and fighting. You didn't want them to make a scene. Students were starting to form around them, watching. This had to stop before they end up hurting each other.
You got in between them, trying to break the boys up but at the same moment Luke swung his arm out, trying to punch your friend. But instead of hitting your friend, he hit you, square in the face.
You put your hands up to your nose, noticing that it was bleeding. The look on Luke's face turned into sheer terror and everyone froze.
"What did you do to her?!" Your friend asks in shock.
"oh my god (y/n), I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hit you! I meant to hit this dumb ass.." Luke says pointing to your friend.
"Please forgive me (y/n), I'm so sorry. C'mon lets go get you cleaned up." Luke says.
You just slowly walk away with Luke. He puts his arm around you and hugs you and as you both walk down the hall together, Luke tells everyone to stop staring at you in an angry tone that makes everyone look away.
Class is started and no one else is in the hallway so Luke goes into the bathroom with you to help clean you up.
He looks at you sympathetically as he's wiping the blood from your nose.
"I really cannot believe I did that (y/n). I would never hit you intentionally." Luke says still begging for you to forgive him.
"It's okay Luke. I know you didn't mean it. I shouldn't have gotten in between you two when you were so angry. I should've known that was gunna happen."
"No babe, it's not your fault. It's mine. I was over reacting. I know how you feel about me and I trust you, I'm just so protective of you and I don't want to loose you. I love you so much (y/n)."
"I love you too Luke."
Luke lifts you up so that you're sitting on the sink counter and you wrap your legs around him as he leans in to kiss you.

They wanted an Imagine where you're arguing with Luke and he hits you for the first time but I could never picture Luke doing that so I turned it into this instead...
