Imagine
You have been friends with Luke for awhile now and you two have become a lot closer than you ever imagined. Luke was one of the very few guys you actually felt comfortable around. You could just let go and totally be yourself around him and you loved that about him.
Surprisingly, the way you two had first met was in your art class. You were grouped together at a table with another classmate and you guys just got on really well. Luke didn't seem like the artsy type but he was actually really good. He just didn't like to admit it.
The assignment you were working on now was to draw a portrait of your partner and you were glad to have Luke as your partner. It wouldn't be too painful, as drawing people wasn't really your strong suit.
"So do you wanna meet up after school to work on those portraits?" Luke asks you as you're gathering up your stuff before the bell rings.
"Oh, uh yeah sure." You say trying to hurry.
"Okay. Meet me at my place?" Luke asks, looking into your eyes as he bites near his lip piercing.
"Sounds good." You say smiling.
"Alright, cool. Well see you later then." He says holding a smile, a dimple appearing on his cheek.

*Later that day*
"Hey Emery!" Luke said excitedly as he opened the door for you.
You smiled at Luke and stepped inside. You caught a faint smell of pizza lingering in the air. As you looked around the room you noticed it was oddly quiet. You had been to Luke's house only a couple other times before but both times the house had so much noise and other voices around the house.
"Is anyone else home?" You asked curiously.
"No, my mom had to work late today...Is that okay?" Luke asked nervously, as if he had done something wrong.
"No its fine, I was just wondering."
"Oh, okay cool. Would you like any pizza? I was kind of on my own for dinner tonight."
"No, I'm good thanks." You say politely, even though you hadn't eaten since lunch at school.
"C'mon, you know you want some." Luke said opening up the pizza box for you, with a smirk on his face.
"Okay, yeah you're right." You say laughing and snatching a piece of pizza from him.
After you eat and talk for a little while you finally get down to business.
"Okay, I'll go first." You say taking out your drawing pad and a pencil.
Luke pulled up a chair in front of you and sat down, smiling.
You took a first look at him and then start focusing on every little detail precisely. First the shape of his face, then his perfectly messy hair and down to his bright blue eyes that were staring back at you. Then his cute nose and the perfect dimples that formed on his cheeks. Your eyes moved to his plump, pursed lips with that teasing piece of metal that hung from them. Luke seemed absolutely perfect in every aspect and he made it look effortless.
"Are you done yet?" Luke asked, snapping you back to reality.
"Yeah almost, hang on." You said adding the finishing touches.
"There." You said as you showed off your work proudly. You were actually pleasantly surprised at how your drawing turned out.
"Wow. Thats REALLY good. It looks so real!" Luke said surprised.
"You sound surprised." You said teasing.
"Well I knew you were good, but not THAT good." He said smiling at you.
"I'm gunna turn some music on." He said, getting out his phone.
You heard the song 'This is Gospel' by Panic! At the Disco start to play.
"I love this song." You said as you settled down in the chair in front of him.
"Really? I'm like obsessed with this album right now." Luke said as he looked up from his drawing pad at you.
"Yeah! Its a good album!" You say smiling at you watch his eyes move from the drawing pad to you then back to the drawing pad.
The longer you try to sit still and the more Luke looks at you, you start to feel anxious and uncomfortable. You couldn't help but feel awkward when someone looked so intensely at you. Like all of your flaws and insecurities would suddenly be jumping out at them.
"Relax Em, you look so tense." He said gently resting a hand on your knee. At first his touch made you tense up even more but as it rested there you started to relax. Luke looked into your eyes and then quickly moving his hand back to his drawing pad.
After trying so hard to sit still for what felt like hours, Luke finally finished.
"Done!" He said looking up at you and grinning. He turned his pad around for you too see.
"Wow, thats good!" You said looking at his masterpiece. It really was amazing. A lot better than you expected honestly.
"Thanks..." Luke said and the room got quiet again.
After a couple seconds of awkward silence you started to gather your things.
"Well I should really get going." You say.
"Wait," Luke said stopping you as he grabbed your hand, making you completely freeze.
"I don't know why it's taken me this long to say this...but you're REALLY beautiful Emery. You're absolutely perfect. I know we're just friends...but deep down I've always felt more for you, and I don't know, maybe someday we could be more than friends..." Luke trailed off, leaving you speechless.
He just looked at you, waiting for any kind of response.
"Luke, I don't know what to say." You said still in shock as Luke moved in closer to you. You and Luke were becoming close but you didn't imagine THIS close.
"Then how bout you say yes to letting me take you out for an official date this weekend." He said smoothly.
"Okay." You said smiling. You were gunna go on a date with Luke Hemmings.

Wow this imagine turned out to be longer than i thought it would be but ahhhh omg okay i thought this was so cute! Idk where the whole art thing came from but i hope you guys liked this imagine! :-)

And also when you ask for a request, please don't just simply say "can i have an imagine?" For example because for a request i need a little more specific request with like a scenario please, that would be really helpful.
