Imagine
You're one of those girls who absolutely HATES going to school. The days seem endless at school and you feel like eyes are just following you down the hallways. Being at school feels like one of the most uncomfortable places on the planet. You feel like you're surround by nothing but judgmental bitches. And the reason you feel this way is because you're being bullied.
You try your best to stay strong and ignore them but you've been pushed to the breaking point.
You self harm.
You have scars from your wrists all the way up your arm.
You don't understand it but somehow cutting makes the pain go away for a little while.
Now you have to wear sweatshirts or long sleeved shirts to cover up all the reminders of how "worthless" you are.
You're friends try to tell you how you need to stop and how harming yourself is wrong.
"You're beautiful" they said.
"You don't deserve to feel this way" they said. But you could never bring yourself to listen to them.
------------------------
Its another dreadful day at school...and so far this day may have just made the top of your list of worst days at school.
A group of girls spotted your scars when you were at your locker. They came up to you and made some rude and bitchy comments, leaving you in tears.
The bell rang for class and the hallways started to clear out. You quickly grabbed your books and walked the other way, wiping your eyes.
"Hey, wait up!" You heard a boy's voice calling after you but you just kept walking away. They probably weren't talking to you anyways you thought.
Suddenly you felt a hand grab onto your arm, making you flinch and stop dead in your tracks. You turned around to see your crush looking at you with his beautiful blue eyes.
Luke Hemmings.
This can't be happening. You didn't even know he knew your name.
"Are you okay?" He asked looking into your eyes, making you wipe your eyes again self consciously.
"I'm fine." You mutter.
"No you're not. What happened back there?" He asked looking concerned.
"Just some stupid girls..." You manage to say.
"Come here." He says grabbing your arm again and his touch makes your heart flutter.
He leads you to the bathroom. Before walking into the girls bathroom he looks around the hallway as if scoping out the place like a secret agent. Since class already started theres no one around.
"What are you doing Luke?" You ask as he leads you into the bathroom and the two of you sit on the floor against the wall.
"Well I think class will go on just fine without us." He says smiling at you, making you crack a smile. "There's that smile!" he said making you smile even more.
"So do you wanna explain the scars?" He says, pointing to your arm. Making you realize your sleeves weren't covering your scars and you quickly pulled them down.
"(Y/N), is it because of those girls picking on you?" Luke asks sympathetically.
And thats when you break down. You start to cry first softly, then uncontrollably.
"Aw (Y/N) I'm sorry." Luke says getting up and quickly going into a stall and coming out with a wad of tissue in his hand.
"Here." He says holding the tissues out to you.
"Thanks." You say grabbing the wad and dabbing your eyes.
"They make me feel so worthless Luke..." You say unexpectedly. Surprisingly you feel comfortable enough to tell Luke this.
"(Y/N), don't listen to them. They're the worthless ones for bullying you like that. You're a beautiful and sweet girl and I'm not just saying that. You can't let them get you down. They're not worth it and what they think of you doesn't matter. They're just jealous of your big brown eyes and gorgeous smile" Luke says, making you blush.
"Nobody deserves to feel this way but I promise you, self harm isn't the answer. Promise me you will try to feel happy with yourself?" Luke says looking into your eyes.
You silently nod and Luke opens his arms for a hug and you accept, resting your head on his shoulder.
Everything that Luke had said was starting to sink into your mind. Maybe he was right.
"C'mon, lets go show those girls that you're better than them, they aren't going to bring you down anymore." Luke said standing up, holding his hand out to help you up.
You grab his hand, smiling.
You couldn't believe how nice Luke was being and you couldn't thank him enough for what he was doing for you.

Hey babes, if this made you emotional or you could relate to it in any way, just know that YOU ARE WORTH IT. You are beautiful and strong. You were put on this earth for a reason and the people getting you down, they are the ones that aren't worth it. Don't let them take away you're happiness. What they think of you doesn't matter. There are people in your life who love you and care about you wether you realize it or not. You're not alone.
If you ever need a friend or someone to talk to, I'm always here. I love you.
And remember that Lukey wouldn't want to see you upset either. 5sos love you and care about you so much.
