I look up to the moon and I think of you. I think of the stars as your eyes. The moon as your disguise. How you hide your love in galaxies up above. I think of how a fallen star is your message to me that one day we will meet. Yet, the thing is heaven is too far from earth. And I'm nothing but stardust to you. Yet you somehow shine brighter than when I was with you. Your scent lingers in the midst of the night. Your halo is nothing but a glimmering light. The angel that I once knew belonged somewhere farther that the eye could see. It belonged with you instead of me.
