"Ashley. Ashley! What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." It was Maxwell.
"He's here, Sebastian..." I finally stammered out.
"Sebastian?"
"My ex. The one I dumped, remember?"
"The one you broke your own heart with? I remember. Where?" I pointed over to evil.
"You never mentioned he was evil, Ashley. Really I thought you had better taste," he teased. I didn't laugh. "Do you want to talk to him? Or not. Do you want to talk about him? Or do you want to go back to your room?" But I was already at the barrier between the Evers and Nevers. People were staring, but I didn't care. All I cared about was him, my one true love. The one I could never had. The one who I tried to hate, but the more I tried the deeper I fell into the dark abyss called love. Our eyes locked. He walked over. A small girl stalked him close behind.
"Sebastian," I breathed.
"Ashley," he said, no emotion in his voice.
I could think of nothing to say, so I just looked at him. He's so beautiful. In all of his unholy grace he's beautiful.
Then he did that annoying thing where he, kind of, reads my thoughts. Everyone was staring. I still didn't care. Sebastian smirked.
"Should've thought about that before you dumped me," and he walked off. I fell to the ground. Maxwell was at my side in an instant.
"That was very brave," he tried to console me as I had began to shake uncontrollably.
"I knew it wouldn't work. But I didn't expect that." I sniffed and leaned into Maxwell. "He like a drug Max, once you start you can never stop. I'm addicted." I said in despair. Liz, Em and Lily appeared.
"Let's go inside," Lily said. Max led me inside, once we were inside I lay on the bed and began to cry into a pillow.
My body convulsed with sobs, I was vaguely aware of a hand rubbing my back, Maxwell I assumed. Eventually I stopped crying and just lay there.

"Ashley, we've got to get ready for class now" I sat up, and knew I looked terrible. I looked at Em.
"If all else fails, can I borrow your concealer and foundation?"
"Sure," she nodded. I ran into the bathroom, splashing hot water onto my face, I patted it dry and moisturised my face, then I added a cleansing cream and I was good to go. No need for foundation, good.
