The school is 8 years after the end of the books. If you've read the handbook the the Evil Castle is completely finished in renovations. The new school master is neutral. Not good or evil as far as the students and faculty know. Ok on with the story...

As we crossed halfway bridge two figures appeared at the other side of the bridge. When we got closer I saw that one was Dean Sophie. And the other... Sebastian. My hands balled up into fists subconsciously.

I stepped onto Evil premises and Dovey left not a word said. I glared at Sebastian.

"Welcome to Evil" the dean said brightly. I continued my stare off with Sebastian. The dean seemed taken aback. "Shall we go in?" She asked uncertainly. I turned to face.

"Yeah, fine. I don't care. It's not like I have a choice. Is it?" We walked inside. Sebastian trailing behind.

"You, get to do different things. So you get your own room and you will not have to attend Uglification class, you're far too pretty. Instead you get a free period this will not effect your ranks though. Here's your room. Dinner is in 20 minutes I'm sure Sebastian will show you around."

I went in. It was a large room. There was one bed, the other two had been removed clearly. I dumped my bag on the bed.

"Ummmm.... Ash. It wasn't my idea, thing is..."

"I don't want to hear it Sebastian." I cut him off sharply.

"I'll show you around I guess."

"You do that." I followed him out of the room.

He took me round the whole school. I ignored the whispers and stares I got from the other students. I overheard someone asking why I wasn't wearing a Good uniform. It was true, I was wearing a loose black top with cuts in the back making the shape of a scull. My sword strapped to my side bouncing familiarly on the side of my leather skinny trousers. As we passed the Evil groom room I was 4 people. A girl and three boys. No... it was them. My family. I looked away quickly.

We went back to my new room and sat on the bed. We began to talk, we still had 5 minutes.

"Why'd they put you here?"

"I guess I'm just not good enough."

"Good never suited you anyway." I laughed softly.

"Thanks"

"You know I just don't believe I'm the only Shadowhunter with demon blood. I don't understand why nobody thought of it before."

"You're not." I whispered softly, then again, louder this time. "You're not."

"What? Yes I am. I would no. Nobody would be able to hide a secret like that. Not even me."

"But they can." I said softly.

"Ashley, what are you talking about?"

"I have demon blood too, okay?!?! Now it's out. My big secret. It's why I'm so good." His eyes widened.

"No... How? How did you-"

"I just did. Okay? It's not that hard."

"Which one? A greater demon, lesser demon? What? Tell me! I can't believe this."

"Asmodus."I take a deep breath. "And Azazel."

His eyes widened even further.

"Please stop staring at me. It make me feel weird."

"Sorry, I just don't believe it. Does anyone else know?" He looked away quickly.

"No. That's the point. The more people know the less easy it becomes to keep secret."

"I see. You know you're friends are here. You know the ones you lived with in a crazy underground institute?"

"Yeah, I saw them. The institute is from the 1st World War. The clave forgot about it after it was put out of action when the 2nd World War ended."

"Don't you want to speak to them. To chase even?"

"Not really. At least not yet." I sighed.

Sebastian glanced at the clock. "We should go to dinner now. Do you want to sit with me?"

" I don't have anyone else to sit by."

"True, but you should probably lead the sword here."
