At dinner people stared at me. I didn't have a uniform. Apparently I was excused from that too. Sebastian led me to an empty table, ignoring the waves of his friends. I saw a ranking board on one side of the room. Sebastian's name was by the shining '1'.

"So, you're first."

"Yep" he said popping the p. "Today's Saturday. We have free time. What do you want to do? We can go to the Doom Room. I have a pass. It's a nightclub by the way."

"Maybe not today. I just got here."

"Hmmm, I guess you're right. We can go to the library."

"Yes. I'd like that." I smiled faintly.

I didn't eat. And Sebastian finished quickly. "You sure you don't want anything?"

"Yes. I'm not hungry." We left and headed towards the library.

Most of the books were non-fiction much to my disappointment. There was a tiny, dusty, cobwebby corner that had a few unloved novels. They were bound in real leather though and were absolutely beautiful.

"Not many Nevers like novels I suppose." Said Sebastian.

"No..." I grabbed two books and left.

On Sunday we had lessons. It was uglification first, so I had a free period.
I checked out the groom room, worked out in my room and began to read one of the novels. It was a Brothers Grimm tale. Of course. A fairy tale. No surprises there, then.

I glanced at the clock then my schedule. 5 minutes until Special Talents. I left the room in an attempt to navigate the castle, it was way more complex than the good castle. Probably because of the new building work that had just been finished. Sebastian had told me it was right next to the uglification class room and somehow miraculously I made it, with two minutes to spare!

Suddenly students poured out of the classroom, rubbing warts off of their faces, Elizabeth walked past a blazing 1 over her head, smiling triumphantly, her skin already porcelain-perfect once more.

I followed the other students into the class room. Inside stood a short and somewhat pudgy woman. Her name was Professor Sheeks- Special Talents. I looked around at the other students. Where was Sebastian? Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder I whipped round my hand automatically going for my blade. And immediately sighed with relief it was Sebastian. Phew. We all stood in a semi circle around the Professor. Who was looking directly at me.

"Do you, have any special talents?" She asked pointedly.

I opened my mouth to speak when someone else interrupted me. The room was filled with sniggers and whispers I heard one girl whisper to a boy who I assumed to be her boyfriend.

"Bet she can't do anything. She was an ever after all." The girl had smooth brown skin, practically flawless, her boyfriend was tall. But not as tall as me. I was at least 6ft 5 if not taller. He chuckled in response.

The person who so rudely interrupted me was Yuki. "She can wake the dead." He called a mischievous grin on his face. I glared at him.

"Is this true?" Professor Sheeks questioned. I swallowed and nodded. There was a collective gasp. "Anything else? We can't very well practise that here."

"I- I-. I can summon demons." Another gasp. "And uhhhh teleport? Kind of...." Even the Professor's eyes widened.

"Can you show us?" She asked

"Ummm... well... which one?"

"Both?"

"I guess..." I took at deep breath. "Where to?"

"The corner of the room will be fine." She said.

"Okay..." I pictured myself over by the book shelf. When I opened my eyes I was there. My audience gasped. I walked back over. "It only works with places I've seen before though."

"That is to be expected. Logic defines it. Can you? Can you summon a demon?"

"You're floor will be highly damaged."

"I can fix it."

"Well. Uh. Okay." I grabbed various spears, poles and swords and stuck them in the floor, creating a pentagram.  Finally I grabbed a piece of chalk from the large black board and made markings at each point of the weapon. Just before I made the final one I said.

"Stand back. Unless you want to be Xavier's next meal." Every one including the Professor took a large step back. I finished the final mark. Took a step back and a blue light shot from the centre of the pentagram. Most turned away I sat cross legged on the floor. The blue light cleared and we could see Xavier standing looking angry.

"What in the devils name- Oh. It's you. Your father is very worried. He is looking for you. He wants to know if you're ok. He has search parties for goodness sake! The Shadowhunters are concerned as to why there are so many of us! Don't even think for one minute that you are not in trouble young lady because you are in deep. So, so deep. Not even I can save you now. What did you want?"

"Ummmm. Nothing? Just uhhhh tell my dad that I'm fine and I'll explain when I next see him okay?"

"Fine." He shakes his head. "I'm going to go now."

"Bye then" He disappeared. I pulled apart the pentagram and scuffed the chalk. Everyone watched in utter disbelief. A golden 1 burst over my head.

"Class dismissed." The poor woman look shaken.
