You want me?

"So what you're saying is that you want me?" I ask still in shock, he nods. Before I know whats happening, we're kissing, and it's the most amazing feeling. We don't know who moved first, all we know is that we're here now, and it's the most natural thing in my life. When we break apart we try our hardest to catch our breaths, and we don't move. Our foreheads rest on each other, and our breathes mingle.

"Lucas, Maya" Mabel says opening the front door, we spring away from each other.

"Mom" Lucas says rubbing his neck, she looks between us confused.

"What are you two doing up so late?" she asks her hand on her hip

"We lost track of time" I say embarrassed, she looks at me.

"Its 2:30 for god sakes, go to bed" she tells us pointing up the stairs, we bring our plates in, and rush to bed, both of us to confused, and tired to talk about it any more. I fall asleep thinking about Lucas, and our kiss. I wake up calmly for the first time since I got here, I quickly get dressed, and head downstairs.

"Morning sleepyhead" Mabel says handing me a coffee, I thank her, and take a sip, its amazing.

"So where's everyone?" I ask, and suddenly they all come downstairs.

"Good morning" Riley says in a chipper voice, guilt ceases my body when I see her smile at Lucas. She hugs me, and All I want to do is cry.

"So you guys were sure going at it last night" Riley says sitting next to me, I choke on my coffee, and Lucas coughs.

"What?" I squeak, she looks amused

"You guys were up till almost 3 what were you guys doing?" she asks grabbing some orange juice, I shrug sipping on my coffee

"We ate some cake, and talked" Lucas says, I nod in agreement

"Owe, you guys had a civil conversation can someone feel my head." she says laughing

"We talk" I defend, not looking him. She continues to laugh, I zone out. I still don't believe what happened, we kissed, and I liked it, he told me he wants me, What the hell!

"Maya" Mabel says waving her hand in front of my face, I snap my head to meet hers.

"Sorry?" I tell her, she looks amaused

"I asked if you, and Lucas are riding today, I can tell your enjoying it" She asks, I look at Lucas for the first time all morning, he shrugs.

"Yeah, I think we are" I tell her getting up to go get ready.

"you guys aren't staying fir breakfast?" she asks, we shake our head in unison

"Ugh, I really want to get some morning riding in, thanks though" I say kissing her cheek, and heading upstairs. I put on some shorts, and a top. I don't fix my hair, not caring. When I come downstairs, I don't wait for him, I know its weird, but I want to talk to Melody alone.

"Melody, what do I do?" I ask her, while brushing her, she neighs, and it breaks my heart that she can't talk back.

"Maya" Lucas calls, I wipe a stay tear, and call him in.

"Okay, I know I feel weird to, but we need to talk" He says putting his hands up in mock surrender.

"No, we're riding first, then we can talk" I order, he looks shocked, but nods. As soon as he puts the saddle on, I'm gone. The warm wind whips my face, but I gallop harder. When I can't see my surroundings is when I start to think. My thoughts jumble, and my brain hurts with all the thoughts crossing it. I slow down, when my head feels light, when I feel free. Lucas is behind me, his face is set, and he licks his lips. I know all I want to do is kiss him, but that's just going to make things more complicated, my body can't handle any more stress.

"What do we do" I yell

"I don't know" he replies softly making me break even more, I know he's just as confused. We don't talk on the way back, and I don't rush away, we stroll, and my thoughts start to stabilize. We get back, and we still say nothing. We brush the horse in silence, it's only when we're finished do I ask him something.

"Why?" I ask staring at him, he stops brushing, and stare back

"Its just how I feel" he says honestly, I drop my brush, and kiss him, I kiss him until my brain stops, I kiss him until Its just us, and I kiss him until The guilt no longer gives me pain. When we break apart, both of us are smiling.

"What does this mean?" I ask laying my head on his chest

"Whatever you want it to mean" he says running his hands through my hair.

"Well we need to think about Riley, and Sam" I say starting to pace, he stops me

"What do you want because I already told you what I wanted" he says holding my shoulders, his touch zaps me.

"I want,... I want you" I finally say looking down, he lift my chin, and he makes me look at him.

"Now was that so hard to admit?" he asks, I smack him, and continue to brush Melody. After a coupe hours of us forgetting about everyone else, its time we go inside.

"Okay, it's between us, no body needs to know" I say anxiously, he laughs, and moves my hair form my eyes

"Calm down, breathe we'll be a secret, but No sam" he says spitting sam's name out

"Fine, No Riley" I say, he nods and take my hand. We Kiss longingly, we know we can't do this inside.

"Look who's finally back" Mabel says once we get inside

"Yes, we know, but Lucas was teaching me how to calm Melody down" I lie with ease, doe that make me terrible.

"Well, you guys must be starving, wash up dinners almost ready" Mabel tells us. When I was outside I must have been so caught up I didn't realize how hungry I actually was, my stomach growls loudly as I change for dinner. When I get downstairs everyones already seated

"Sorry" I say sitting down next to Riley, and right in front of Lucas. I pile the food high on my plate, i'm so ready to eat.

"Woah their Maya, you sure are hungry" Bart says staring at my sky high plate, I nod, and start shoving food in my mouth. Lucas laughs, and I hit him under the table.

"Hey" he says trying to be serious, but I can see the small smile he's hiding.

"Hey what, next time don't make fun of my hunger" I say taking a bite of a delicious bread roll, Mabel laughs at our interaction, but Riley looks confused.

"Farkle, It feels like I haven't seen you in forever" I tell Farkle, who seems to be engrossed in a book

"Owe, well I actually met some people, they wanted me to join their science club, so I've been doing that" He says, making me laugh.

"How about a game" Mabel ask after we finish cleaning up, we all agree.

"Okay, the game is called Know it all, we pick one person, and we see who knows the person the best" Mabel explains, taking out the questions.

"Lets go" I say ready for the game, at least thats what I thought
