Yikes

It's been a week since I broke it off with Mark, and honestly it's been a week since me, and Lucas can't get enough of each other.

"We should really stop"I say laying under his duvet, he chuckles, and I smack him.

"No we shouldn't" he says kissing me, I breathe him in, and feel relaxed.

"We're horrible" I tell him as he kisses my neck, and I moan. He spins me over, now he's pinning me, and his face is serious. Lust courses through my veins as he whispers in my ear

"Is this horrible" he asks his mouth trailing lower, I groan, and try to squirm away knowing that I'll give in soon if I don't.

"Lucas" I groan, and he stops. His mouth is frozen on my collar bone, and his mouth forms a smirk.

"You can't resist me can you Miss Hart?" He asks the smirk prominent on his face.

"Owe huckleberry huckleberry, your the one that can't resist me" I say pushing him on the bed. I move my hair, and I run my hands across his chest, electing a moan. I laugh, and so does he.

"Your amazing" he says, moving my hair out of my face, and caressing my cheek.

"I know" I say confidently, he laughs, but seems serious.

"I'm serious Maya your amazing, I've never felt this way before" he says, making my heart soar and break if that's possible.

"Me either, Lucas I really love... This, I just don't know how things will go with Riley" I say tracing circles on his chest, and he nods.

"No more seriousness get back beside me" he says pulling me to his side, and kissing the top of my head. We stay in each others arms Until the sun rises, and I sneak back to my room. I don't fall asleep the adrenaline is still rushing through my veins. When it seems reasonable I head downstairs ready for a huge cup of coffee.

"Mornin" I say to Mabel Who's already among breakfast.

"Mornin Maya, how did you sleep sweetheart" she asks, as she ties her hair that's identical to Lucas's up.

"I slept great, what about you" I ask sitting down once my coffees brewed.

"I slept well, so anyways you know it's Sunday, so could you wake everyone up so we can head on up to church" she asks, and I remember that we have church. I head upstairs, and wake up everyone. I leave Lucas for last not knocking, and I hear the shower on.

"Huckleberry, we have Church so hurry up" I yell out scaring him, he turns off the shower, and comes out of the steam looking hotter than earlier.

"Jeez Maya you gave me a fricken heart attach"
He says wrapping the towel around his waist, I'm not focused on what he's saying, I'm just focused on tech beads of water dripping off him.

"You know what you look like you need a shower, or at least go get wet" he says his eyebrows raised, I laugh as he chases me.

"Stop Lucas. i'm serious" I tell him trying not to laugh, he has me scramble on the bed when I hear Riley come in, she's wearing a purple sun dress, and her hair is up in a pony tail. She looks between us her eyes wide

"Hey Riles, I was telling Huckleberry here that he needs to get dressed, when the freak started chasing me" I lie getting up, she looks between us her face confused

"Okay, but you should go get dressed we have to leave" Riley says to me, her face going back to normal. I quickly put on a pair of denim shorts , and a white tank top. I decide not to put my hair up, but to wear it in loose ringlets. Memories flash through my mind of last night. But with that comes instant guilt, and Riley's face flashes through my mind.

"Okay i'm ready" I say walking down, I see Mabel, and Bart are already gone.

"Okay let's go" Caroline says her sunglasses perched on her nose. I followed her out, and Riley comes and grabs my hand. 

"I'm glad we got everything cleared, so I was thinking, since things with you and Mark didn't work out why don't we find someone else" she says her voice chipper, and a hop in her step.

"I'm okay for now Riles, anyways let's find you a guy" I say, she scoffs

"I have Lucas" she says, and my every beats faster, she doesn't notice.

"But you guys haven't gone on any dates or anything" I say trying to sound normal, and not like a complete mess that I feel like inside.

"I know, but I'm gonna ask him, I think he just feels it's my turn to make a move" she says fixing her ponytail. We finally get to the church, and I can't be more happy.

"Maya honey how have you been?" The Paster asks at the doors of the church.

"I'm good, how about you Paster, hows your back?" I ask, and everyone looks at me weirdly.

"It's bette thank for asking, I was actually hoping you could sing again, people keep asking to hear you again" he says a huge smile on his face. My face flushed from the praise, and my wharf beats a little faster.

"I don't have anything prepared" I tell him my palms setting to sweat.

"Anything works as long as it's appropriate" he says chuckling. I remember the feeling of last time, the rush it gave me, and the confidence I felt.

"Sure why not" I say suddenly excited, he cheers excitedly. It's weird, but I know one song it's called 10,000 reasons, so I decided to sing That.

"Now everyone after tons of beggin on my part, I finally got the wonderful Maya Hart to sing for us" the Paster says, and everyone starts clapping, I walk up, and my nerves start to set in. I look over at Lucas, and he gives me a smile, and my nerves settle, and I know I'm ready!
