White snowflakes flutter throughout the air. Gentle winter breezes create a frosty dance. Harry, Zayn, Louis and I walk briskly down the sidewalk. Silvery-grey wisps of breath appear in the air with every exhale I take. Hands in coat pockets with noses deep within scarves, we continue walking in a line - me and Zayn in front, Louis and Harry right behind us. Besides the rustling icy harmonies of snowfall, there is only complete silence. No one wants to speak. No one feels the need to speak or do anything over than walk. The tension is still strung in our bones from a few days ago.

~~~
Chaos ensues. The moment the bullet exits the barrel, the incubus waves his hand sharply. Papers fly everywhere, the four boys' visions blinded by flurries of grey and white. But that doesn't stop the bitten back scream of pain as the bullet squelches into some part of the incubus. The papers immediately drop like snowflakes and the four boys shake their heads to get rid of the daze. The vampire's nose immediately twitches, his eyes blown over with crimson. He whips his head to the doorway and the growl rips through his throat.
"That fucker," he snarls out. Liam whips his head up and his pupils dilate until there is no white. Blood droplets trail down the passageway they came from. And just as the demon almost burns the entire place down, a dark flash turns and limps around the corner. The smirks tugging on all four boys' lips are inevitable. And without needing to be told anything, they speed out of the room and down the hallway, the anger, fear and uncertainty of what they all saw on the walls and tables long forgotten. Because right now, they have someone to grill and kill for some information.
Harry and Zayn sprint first, their animalistic qualities kicking in while Liam and Louis keep up at a relatively safe distance. The two in front turn the corner and let out echoing laughter. The incubus limps his way up the final step, his uneven footsteps creaking against the wood floorboards until there is silence. He makes it to the woods.
~~~

The snow falls soundlessly, covering the streets and sidewalks as I continue to tread towards my destination. Zayn's golden amber irises burn into the side of my skull, but I ignore it. There's no way that I could trust him. Who am I kidding? When I thought that all the loose ends with the panther were tied, that sly pussy makes new ones.

~~~
"Fuck this shit," Liam growls quietly to himself. In the demon's opinion, this running thing is taking too long. So the demon does what he does best.
Louis's eyes widen when the mixture of a loud ripping noise and Liam disappearing in front of him takes over his senses. Harry turns around at the noise and the forest green in his eyes dulls in confusion.
"DAMN IT!" Harry screams out while kicking the damp wall to his right. The werewolf's nose twitches when the only scents he can smell are the earthy natural smell of himself and the coppery metallic smell of blood from Louis. No dark dangerous scent of a night cat.
"Where's Zayn?" the werewolf questions. Louis's eyes widen in shock and he turns all the way around the hallway. And he is right. The panther is nowhere in sight.
The incubus limply runs out of the cabin. He takes a deep breath before starting to run towards the tree line. He runs through and past trees and bushes, the moonlight shining through the openings of the branches. Shadows bounce off the trunks and floor, the incubus looking back and forth between the canopy. Nothing. Nothing at all in sight. So it is completely justified that the incubus just wants to sit down for a while to nurse and maybe even dress the wound that somehow got into his thigh.
