Once the two got over the shock of being in each other's company without knowing; Emmett grabbed Taylor's suitcase and walked into the house. As she stepped inside, it felt as if she had never left. Looking around she saw photographs on the walls. There were many of Emmett as a child, just as Taylor remembered. There was one of Mr Gilbert and Emmett and on the frame was an engraving. It read; In loving memory of Nathaniel Gilbert: 1949 - 1988. Taylor sighed sadly and Emmett turned and said slowly, "We would have been fourteen at the time." Taylor looked at Emmett sadly and sniffed. She liked Mr Gilbert, he had been good friends with Taylor's mother. Emmett continued slowly up the stairs with her suitcase. "Emmett I'm so sorry." Taylor whispered. Emmett stopped in mid step. Clearing his throat Emmett continued to walk up the stairs. Taylor felt guilty talking about Mr Gilbert. Emmett must be still mourning. Continuing up the stairs, Taylor saw many more photos. They were mostly of Emmett. One of him at graduation. One on Jeanie. One beside his father's grave. There was one in particular that caught her attention. It was of a birthday party. Looking about the photo she saw a banner in the background reading Happy 18th Emmett and saw a very smug Emmett in the centre. There were many people she recognised from when they were in kindergarten. Emmett stood at the top of the stairs and saw  that she was looking at the pictures. Taylor continued to stare at the photograph. She saw lots of grins and laughter shots. She then saw, in the corner of her eye, a new photograph. She looked at it. It was Emmett. He was down on one knee. It was an action shot of him proposing. Taylor smiled at it and put a hand on the photo. The girl was covering her face. She must've been crying with joy. She saw Emmett's smirk on his face. He was wearing a light blue denim shirt and jeans. He looked very handsome yet so casual. Like Chris. Emmett cleared his throat noisily to gain Taylor's attention again. "This is uhm- your room." He croaked as he set down her case. Taylor smiled sweetly at Emmett. "I'll leave you to change or whatever." He continued as he turned to leave the room. "Emmett," Taylor sighed. Emmett turned back around to face her. "Yes?" He said curtly. Taylor walked over to him and opened her mouth to say something. She couldn't find the right words to say so she shut her mouth. Emmett sighed exhaustedly and leant against the door frame and waited for Taylor to continue. "Thanks." She finally said. Emmett made a slight grunting noise and turned and left. Taylor sighed. She was mentally kicking herself. After quickly washing her face and hands, she left her room, closing he door on her way out. Click.
