Walking back into the chapel, breathing slowly and steadily, Emmett told everyone that he couldn't marry Frances. Damon's mouth dropped open as did many others. He walked up to Frances and apologised and said, "I just don't love you anymore." Frances removed her engagement ring and handed it back to him. She smiled melancholically and whispered, "Go find her." With her blessing, Emmett ran all the back to his home all the while screaming inside his head hoping she would be there. As he was running, he was thinking back to his childhood with Taylor and how they met after twenty years. He reached the house and flew open the door. The foreman and his wife were there and surprised to see Emmett. "Taylor!" Emmett shouted as he darted in and out of each room and up and down the stairs. Emmett was now mad at himself. Emmett then turned to the foreman and his wife and said quickly, "Have you two seen Taylor?" The foreman looked saddened and said softly, "Sorry mate, she's on her way to the airport." Emmett sighed a heavy sigh and ran back outside and threw off his buttonhole corsage. Climbing into the car, he revved up the engine and drove to the airport. Please still be at the airport Emmett thought as he raced down the roads, please Taylor - I love you.

Taylor was sat in the café in the airport, reading. She checked her phone and saw five missed calls from Emmett and ten messages from him and Lucy. One caught her eye. It read; don't leave me again x - it was from Emmett. She ignored it and switched off her phone. She then heard the announcer call her plane number and she slowly got up and walked to the gate. She fought back her tears as she handed over her passport. The boarder smiled and said, "Welcome aboard Miss Peterson." Taylor smiled weakly and walked into the gangway. She took a deep breath and put a hand over her stomach. Looking forward, she walked on. She was leaving again. But this time for good.

Meanwhile Emmett had just arrived at the airport and raced inside. He scoured the busy flow of people until he saw the departures board. Running towards it he skimmed the board in search of Taylor's possible flight. Then he saw it. BNA – LAX. He saw the flashing red colour next to it and read, Last call for boarding he groaned and pushed past a lot of people and stuck through passport control. He hoped she would still be at the gate when he got there. Finally reaching the gate where Taylor's flight was stationed, he saw to boarder ladies drawing a tape across. "I'm sorry Sir but this flight is due to takeoff." One of the ladies said when they saw Emmett. Emmett looked at the screen. Departed. He mentally kicked himself and screamed. He ended up kicking over a bin and screamed loudly. She was gone. Putting his hands up to his face and screamed into them. The two ladies tried to calm him down. One of the ladies looked at Emmett and said, "It's okay Sir, you can get another flight." Emmett sighed annoyed. He would go and follow Taylor but he couldn't surprise her as he had no idea where in Los Angeles Taylor lived or worked. Just then his iPhone binged. It was a new message. It was from Taylor. Shakily, he opened the message and read; I'm sorry. Closing his eyes, he tried not to cry or shout or swear. Instead he heard footsteps. Looking up he saw Damon. "Too late. I was too late." Emmett said thickly. Damon raked a hand through his hair and sat by his best friend. For the first time, Damon hugged his crying best friend and said, "We'll find her. I promise."
