Chris was bored as Taylor was discussing flowers when he decided to make a few phone calls. He eyed Taylor and mouthed 'I'll be outside' and went on his way outside. He held the phone to his ear as the ringing tone entered his ear. Suddenly someone walked into him. "Hey watch i- oh." Chris grumbled as he tore the phone away from his ear. He saw the person who walked into him was, "Frances? I thought you were back with Amelia at the Gilbert's place." He sighed. Frances looked absolutely beautiful. Her fiery red hair was in a high ponytail and she was wearing a black shirt and jeans with matching booties. "Hi. You're Chris, right? Sorry it's just I'm awful at remembering names," She smiled embarrassed as she pushed a stray curl behind her ear, "plus I was with Amelia this morning but she doesn't half gob on. I made a quick get away so I could catch up with a few college friends." Chris smiled and said it was understandable for her to forget names and faces as she must've been so busy with the wedding and plans. Chris looked briefly at his watch and stuttered quickly, "Uhm- I've gotta go. I came here with Taylor. Wanna ride back with us?" Frances's smile fell slightly but before Chris could catch on, she quickly cleared her throat. Walking with Chris into the florist, she noticed Taylor paying for a bunch of petunias. Taylor was wearing a striped crop top and high waisted ripped jeans. She looked amazing. Her makeup was perfect. Her hair was straightened and perfect. Everything about her looked perfect. "Oh hi Frances." Taylor said drawing Frances's attention.

Once the flowers were paid for, the three of them went out of the store and climbed into the truck. Starting the engine, Chris revved the car into action. Frances sat in between Chris and Taylor. He started to drive. She commented and chatting casually to Chris as Taylor leant her head against the window. She was again staring out looking just as she was on the way to the florist. Chris wasn't paying that much attention to Frances and in the corner of his eye, saw that Taylor was wiping something away from her cheeks. He heard her sniff then realised that she must've been crying on the way too. Seeing Taylor cry broke his heart and gave him a pain. Frances realised this when Chris wasn't responding and went quiet. She made small talk about her bridal gown and how Chris and Taylor would be sat at the front of the ceremony as they were good friends of Emmett and how she thought it's how Mr Gilbert would have wanted it. Neither Taylor or Chris paid much attention to that either but Taylor sighed as she sat up and wiped her tears away and said softly, "I'd love to see the dress. I'm sure you look absolutely stunning." Frances laughed at that and thanked her for her kind words and said that she just wanted the big day to come faster. Taylor smiled and said that she'd always be happy to help whenever Frances needed it. "Thank you Taylor." Frances breathed as the truck drew up outside the Gilbert's driveway.
