He chuckled and shook his head. "You're funny."
"And you're.." I scanned his face and its beautiful features before my eyes landed on his chest. "Shirtless."
Great! Just great!
He chuckled. "Does it make you uncomfortable?" He clearly was enjoying t...

"Are you really sure about this?" I fidgeted with my dress as Taylor and I got closer to the security department room.
"Nope. Never in my life have I ever been so unsure of something." She giggled as she saw the look of horror on my face.
"Taylor, you're not helping me!" I huffed and crossed my arms against my chest. I gave her the 'sad look' hoping that she would get the hint that I was absolutely serious about it.
"I know." She winked and grinned at me. "But you've got nobody else. So make the best of me." I sighed in defeat. She was right. I can't go to anybody else regarding this. Nobody would tell me and it would only cause suspicion.
"I hate you." I hit her arm playfully as we stopped right in front of the door that led to the security room.
"Aww, I love you too! But save all the love for later cousin! We've got a mission to complete." She smirked but it quickly turned into a look of horror. "Oh shit! Dad's coming out now!" She gasped and pulled her hair.
"Where?" My head whipped in the direction of the semi glass door.

"Here!" She shrieked and giggled. Before I could process what was going on, she pressed the big red button beside the door and ran away straight ahead. She turned to the right corridor and disappeared.
I groaned to myself. I should have seen that coming. She always managed to pull off stunts like that. By now I should have been used to her unexpected actions. But for some reason, she always managed to surprised me every single day. The sound of the door unlocking distracted me from my thoughts. I let out a breath and straightened myself.
"You can do this!" I told myself with determination. But it flew out of the window the moment the door opened.
'I can do this right?'
'No, I can't'
'Oh shit! Oh shit!'
Uncle Rogers emerged out of the room. His eyes were surrounded by dark circles that contrasted with his pale white skin. His hair was disheveled like he had run his hand through his hair several times. He did it whenever he was frustrated. It must have been a very tiring night for him.
It was one of those nights where VIPs were going to stay here in our mansion for a meeting or some other work with my father. They were very powerful people and those meetings were held about three or four times a month. So I was accustomed to it by now. Taylor's dad, uncle Rogers was the head of the security force for my dad. It was hard to see him relaxed in one of those days. I already felt guilty for doing this to him but I had no other choice.
