This had to be a disaster! I had waited for half an hour in front of Zachery's door and tried all sorts of advanced techniques I could think of to open it but nothing seemed to work.

When did ringing the bell and knocking the door become advanced techniques?

I rolled my eyes. Fine! That's what I did! But I am not Taylor to think of something that could magically open the damn door. Or maybe Zachery could come action packed with his black leather jacket and coolers, on a super bike with me hugging his waist tightly. We would be speeding the limit, smashing through the walls, making the bricks fly in different places and..

Ahem, why would you need to do all that if you were already with him?

Oh yeah, right! I sighed in defeat and kicked the door in frustration, hoping to make it open somehow. "Ow! Ow!" I groaned in pain and held onto my feet. After making sure that I could walk again, I limped my way down the stairs slowly.

Since I wasn't needed here anymore, I decided to go back to my home. As I reached the ground floor, the sound of people talking filled my ears. Curiously, I peeked from behind the wall and realised that the sound was coming out of the office room. The door opened and out came my father.

Shit! I quickly pressed my back against the wall hoping that somehow I would disappear into it but who am I kidding? I don't possessive any such super powers. The only thing that could be considered as a super power at the moment would be the speed at which my heart was beating at the moment. Please God! Don't make me die yet.

The voices were still heard and curiosity got the better of me. I slowly peeked through wall to see that my father was outside the room, talking to someone who was hid behind the open door. His forehead was creased with wrinkles of frustration and his eyes were strong as steel. I have never seen my father like this before and it made me gulp.

Whoever was on the receiving end of the glare must either be a really strong person or dead by now to not be affected by it. But I was glad that it wasn't me.

Oh don't be so happy yet. Let's see if you would be so lucky when he finds out what you've been doing behind his back.

My eyes widened and I peeked through the wall again. My father pinched the bridge of his nose as he let out a sigh. His voice was somewhat muffled due to the distance between us but I could still somewhat make out what he was saying by straining my hearing skills. "Iam very much disappointed in this act. Nothing sort of this has ever happened before and.."

"Mr.Anderson.." A guy came out from the door and stood in front of my father. He was really white with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. I squinted my eyes as he seemed familiar. Then it clicked. He was the guy who was with the ninja guy when I went to visit my father's office yesterday.

"We can understand how this situation is hard for you but trust me. We'll figure it out."

My father sighed and shook his head. "You don't understand. We have just a week to get over with everything and there is a lot I need to be getting on with already. And this... this is adding way more to it. And it's not as simple as you think it is. There are a lot of powerful people out here. It's.." He let out a tired breath. "If we don't find it in time, everything will be ruined."
