4. He Smells Of Lavender!

Hey guys, it's been a really looooong time! Probably even months since I wanted to keep this story on hold till I completed my other one. But due to the request of the awesome myplayboybunny I've decided to resume the story again. Thank you so much dear!

Though I can't assure of a fast update, I'll try to update it every Friday or Saturday. That makes it one chapter a week. In the meanwhile, you guys could check out my other work, Beneath the mask and give me your awesome reviews and votes.

Since it's been a long time, even I have forgotten this story. So I am going to give you a short recap on what has been happening so far. Or if you want to know it in detail, you could be my dear sweet reader and read from the beginning again. Either way I'll be a really happy author. So there it is...

Recap:

*Luciana Paige and her cousin Taylor sneak into the security room to get information about the secret guest that had been staying in their house for the past two days.

*They first think that it is Zachery Styles, an actor and dream love of Luci but later be disappointed that he is to arrive only a week later, on her birthday.

*It has been marked that the secret room had been occupied by The Petersons, who have not been in good terms with Luci's family for the last for years.

*Determined to find out who it really is, they sneak into the guest room to find that it is occupied by none other than the great, Zachery Styles.

*Taylor escapes the room, leaving behind a perplexed Luci who pretends to be a maid and gets away from him.

*Later on she is called on by her father, where she eavesdrops him having a heated conversation with someone.

*He tells her about how important her birthday is going to be and then she learns about the arrival of the Peterson family.

That's it pretty much. But I'd recommend it to read from the beginning again in order to know the important details that I have left out in this recap. So here is the story for you guys.

Luci's POV:

"What?" I shrieked in agony. "Did I hear you right father?"

"Yes indeed." He nodded. "I want you to meet Marc and get along with him, just as old times."

Visions of past tortures I had to go through because of Marc came into my mind. I shuddered in fear. "But father, he is so arrogant and rude!"

"Paige!" He narrowed his eyes.

"I am sorry father but why are they coming to our house now? Weren't they in some sort of misunderstanding with us?" I paced to and fro in the room.

"Yes. But that was four years ago. Don't you think it's time for a change now?" He smiled but it didn't quite reach his eyes. What are you hiding father?

"Yes. But I need to know why. I feel the world around me change in a single day and I can't bear not knowing why. First I had to deal with his sudden appearance and now--"
