Previously on Chapter 11:
I met new people and was welcomed with open arms. Ms. Ella said I should enter the school’s art competition, Artist of the Future, I agreed and now I have to start my entry. I think I might like I.A. Things are starting to look up for this daughter of a billionaire. :)

Chapter 12:
“Blair guess what?!” my new friend Casey squealed.
“What?” I asked nonchalantly
“There’s a talent show coming up!” she said jumping with excitement as I closed my locker.
“And?”
“And! You should so sign up!”
“Doing what Case?” I said looking at her skeptically
“I don’t know maybe singing or dancing or oh you could play the piano!” I sighed
I couldn’t do any of the things she just listed but Casey was always like this she wanted to try out for everything landing her on 4 different sports teams each year and a plethora of clubs and volunteering programs.
“No” I said as Evan approached.
“Blair...Sands” Evan said, looking at Casey with obvious dislike.
For some reason the two never got along, after prolonged arguments and aggravating yelling from both of them I decided that I’d never hang out with them at the same time.
“Keys” Casey said turning her head away with her nose in the air. Evan rolled his eyes before throwing an arm over my shoulder and looking at me.
“So Blair are you joining the talent show?” he asked casually, I shook my head.
“Why not?” he asked
“I have no talent to show, they’re not accepting drawings or art. Why are you auditioning?” Evan nodded.
“Piano” he said as we walked down the hall to lunch.
“McCarther!” Derek yelled from down the hall waving. I waved back with a smile.
He bid this blonde girl adieu and jogged over our way, behind him the blonde glared at me and flipped her hair before walking away.
“You entering?” he asked waving a flyer for the talent show
“No” I said curtly Derek raised an eyebrow at my tone.
“She’s a bit touchy on that topic Derek” Evan informed him I glared at Evan and began walking to the square to get us a picnic table for lunch.
I put my backpack down next to me on the bench only for it to be removed a replaced by a person a few seconds later.
“Hey” Adam said
“Hey” I said back
“So I hear your birthday is coming up”
“Yeah”
“Are you doing anything special?”
“I don’t think so” I replied an Adam smirked
“Interesting” he said thoughtfully, I raised an eyebrow at him but before I could ask what he meant Bryce sat down across from me
“Hey future couple” he said cheerfully earning him a smack on the back of the head from Adam and a kick from me.
“People these days” Adam mumbled
I took out my lunch while Bryce dropped his stuff and went to join the line to the food cart at the center. Don’t be fooled by the term food cart it wasn’t exactly ordinary food they were selling. The food cart sold a variety of food from around the world from gourmet cuisine to regular pizza to Japanese Nikujaga (A.N.: I googled that I don’t know any Japanese foods :P) As I ate my sandwich my new cell phone vibrated in my pocket signaling that I had a message. Dad had insisted I get one so I could contact him at all times. He gave me the number to his personal line that only Sally, myself, and as of recently, Adam, knows. Not wanting him to waste his money I chose the simplest flip phone in the store, he encouraged me to get something more my age, more high-tech but I agreed on this one. I took it out to see who had texted me and what I saw confused me.
New Message

Curiously I opened the text and froze.
“What’s wrong?” Adam asked
“Uh um nothing” I stammered “um I’m going to go to…to the library!” I said as I grabbed my stuff and rushed out of the square with my phone gripped tightly in my hand.
I rushed into the girl’s bathroom and slid down against the wall breathing heavily. I flipped my phone open again and looked at the message.

Author’s note:
Okay I know it’s been a while and I’m sorry I just didn’t know what to write. Actually I don’t even like this chapter I feel like it’s boring or like it’s missing something. I’m sorry about how short it is I tried though hopefully more ideas will strike me today and I can make the next chapter decent length. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving! Only 806 words and 3 pages on word -____- it’s probably going to be 1 ½ pages on Wattpad. My dearest apologies readers.
