Previously in Chapter 10:

(Stranger’s POV)

“Evan how nice to see you” his voice was smooth and casual “did you get me what I needed?” he asked.

“Yes, I found her, all the information you gave is correct, I’ve already enrolled in her school and blended in.”

“Good” a silence fell over us and I expected him to dismiss me but instead he asked me another question.

“Aren’t you curious, Evan, as to why I want Blair McCarther?” he asked.

“No, it doesn’t concern me as long as I get what I came for but I assumed it was because of her father” He laughed at this.

“Sit boy and I’ll tell you a story”

I sat in a small chair next to his desk.

“When I was about your age I lived in a small country off the coast, it’s not on the map due to its tiny size. This country was called Peninswayla (A/N: pronounced Pen-in-sway-la just like its spelt, again excuse my poor name selection). I was a high class man I clung to my parent’s wealth and social status. It was then that I met a girl, a girl name Elizabeth Andy but she went by Liv then. She would later grow up to become, Blair’s Mom.”

Chapter 11:

“Her mother was born there as well. She was a part of the high society life just like me. Actually her father was friends with the king. Here comes the interesting part. Her family had managed to get themselves into a high amount of debt. Elizabeth knew this and she used me. I thought we stumbled upon each other in the streets little did I know I was being set up. We quickly became friends and would see each other every weekend. Unfortunately I, being the young fool I was, fell in love with Liz. She was very aware of my feelings and used this to play me. One night she came over to my home as usual we sat watching a movie in the living room before she excused herself to use the rest room. When she returned she told me she had to leave her parents needed her home immediately. I offered to take her but she refused and hurriedly left. The next day it was reported that they fled country and my family was missing our most valuable heirloom, a diamond about the size of my fist, worth 15 billion dollars. Security tapes show her in the facility. That evil woman tricked me and my family. She was the only person I trusted, and got my family to trust as well. You know Evan they don’t speak to me anymore; I’m shunned due to that incident. My dad kicked me out of the house the next day. I spent the next 10 years of my life working in fast food restaurants while she got married and built a family. I need to be back on my family’s good side there are some very difficult people after me Evan. I’m a very busy man. I can’t bring my enemies down without their help. I need the diamond back. Only one person might know where it would be is Blair McCarther. The idiots I sent before went straight for the girl and killed Liz when they couldn’t squeeze any information out of her. You’re my last option, don’t fail me Evan”
