~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~When we got to the lunchroom, I saw Mr. Moriarty talking to the head of security. He seemed to be barking his head off because his face was as red as a tomato. The security guard kept on holding up his hands in a defensive manner, as if he didn't know what to say. Even Penelope, who is usually a bright rain of sunshine, looked mad. Andy, Spencer, Amelia, and I sat together at a table. I guess we were friends now. "What should we do?" Asked Andy, looking apprehensive. "What d'you mean, what should we do? We shouldn't say anything! If we play dumb, act like we didn't do anything what so ever, he'll eventually give up! He can't badger us all about this all year, can he?" I said. "There's that, but the main thing I was talking about was the girl." He said the last part in a whisper, barely audible. I remembered now; the little girl who's body was covered in scratches and tubes, from head to feet. My heart ached for her. That was somebody's daughter, somebody's baby! "I don't know. We have to lay low for a little bit. No doubt Mr. Moriarty has put up security cameras outside his office." I said. Andy looked at Spencer. Spencer looked at Andy. "We need to find out something." Said Spencer, a determined look in his bright green eyes. We all nodded and started for our first class of the day, computer studies. When we walked in, we all sat down in the chairs in front of the air conditioner. After a while, all the dust in the room made me go into a fit of coughs. Then, it happened. I sneezed everywhere, most of it on my left sleeve. Andy looked at me and said, laughing hysterically, :" Oh my god, Alice. Wow. What a sneeze!" And then he broke into another fit of giggles. My sleeves on my plain black shirt were long, so I rolled them up. I went up to the desk to get some napkins. Even our computer teacher, Mr. Morgan, was chuckling. My cheeks heated up and I sat down. After that, we went to history class. Our teacher there was Mrs. Sampson. She's usually not very strict, but when she saw Amelia drawing little faces with overdrawn eyebrows on all the desks, she didn't seem too pleased. The final straw was when she caught Amelia writing curse words on all the desks too. In Spanish! She didn't know what they meant, but she was still pretty mad that she did it. For the next couple of days, the desks in her classroom would have little pictures of smiley faces with large eyebrows and Spanish curse words. We all thought it was funny. Too bad the fun wouldn't last for long.
