"Today, you are going to take a test to see what classes are your strong points, and the others that need work. You will spend less time in your 'strong classes' and more time in your 'weak classes'.
Breaks are every two classes, and there are eight in a day. These breaks will be made up of whatever you choose. Going off the property is prohibited. You will be able to choose all of your classes: Please peruse the form in front of you and choose wisely." Mr. Moriarty stepped away from the mic in the auditorium and straightened his tie. He turned around, and walked inside a back room behind the stage. The door shut with a clunk. "What do you think he does in there?" Asked Amelia, giving me a sideways glance. "I heard that he has security cameras." Amelia automatically looks around, looking for the supposed devices. "I was talking to Spencer and Andy today. They said that they were going to break in there." I looked over at them. They were sitting next to us, whispering over a sheets of paper, making changes every so often." What d'you think they're going to find?" Asked Amelia. "Well, we'd hope to find the security headquarters. Or maybe, just maybe, ALIENS. I'd love to see that."Spencer was now looking at us mischievously, a glint in his eye. "When are you going to break in?" I asked. "Tonight. We've been planning this for days!" Said Andy excitedly, pushing the paper towards us. I had to admit, it was a flawless plan. Two lookouts, secret code words, they even knew shortcuts to get back to their living area undetected." We just need some lookouts. You all are pretty under the radar. You don't ever get in trouble! Why don't you and Amelia be our lookouts?" I look at Amelia, my eyebrows raised. Amelia nodded at me, and I returned the gesture. "Why not?" I said, grinning. "Wait!" Said Amelia. "I want you all to find shortcuts to get to the girls living area. I don't want to get caught roaming around at night either!" "We will, don't worry. Here, we made copies of the plan. We call it: Operation: Chicken Fingers. Don't ask." Andy pushed the papers towards us. We put them in our bags. " Meet us in the snack room
five minutes before curfew. We marked shortcuts on your papers. Good luck." They got up and walked away, going to the nearest pop machine. "What did we just get ourselves into?" I shrugged. I just hope that we don't get caught.End of chapter three!
