Naomi was still entirely shocked. I guess I would be too. But, Naomi just went along with it. She guided the way to get up on the roof. The three of us climbed up the steep stairs, went into Naomi's "man cave" then, squirmed through a secret hatch that lead to the roof. When I got through the hatch, I closed it so Mason wouldn't follow us. We all stood on the flat roof. The view was amazing. You could see all the green forests. I stared for a moment, suddenly missing the high peaks and green fields back home. I couldn't wait to see the nature made homes and trees that towered over everything.
"Jayden, I mean Vindosile, I guess I should call you." Acacia said, making me jump a bit.
"Oh yeah sorry. Let's get to this."
I stared at the sky for a moment, thinking about how I was taught to fly. The same way baby birds get taught, getting pushed off something.
"Are you ready Acacia?"
"Yes! Teach me your ways!"
I motioned for Acacia to get near the edge.
"You're not afraid of heights right?"
"Nope"
"Good" With one quick movement, I shoved her off the edge.
"Vin!" Naomi yelled.
I smiled at her,"Is that my nickname now?"
"I guess. Don't change the subject!"
"Hey chill it's like baby birds."
Acacia then flew up right in front of us.
"See?" I said.
Naomi glared at me. Acacia grabbed me by the arm and threw me off the roof. At first I freaked out. But, I remembered how to fly and flew up, next to Acacia.
"Do you want to join us?" Acacia asked Naomi.
"How?" Naomi asked.
Acacia quickly flew down to the house. About a minute later, she came back with a large basket. Large enough to hold Naomi.
"Oh no no no!" Naomi quickly rejected the idea.
Acacia and I looked at each other then, grabbed Naomi and threw her in the basket. Naomi screamed as we dropped fifteen feet towards the ground. Acacia flew up, making Naomi rock back and forth in the basket. I laughed as we sped up and flew over the trees. At that point Naomi adjusted the basket, so she would be comfortable. She smiled as we flew over lakes and rivers.
*Dingle ding ding
Acacia's phone went off. She pulled it out of her pocket then, put it to her ear.
"Hello?............... Yes I'm fine......... I'm with Naomi and Vi- Jayden............ No we're not doing bad stuff........... ok....... love you too.... bye"
She put the phone back in her pocket then, motioned for me to land next to a lake. We quickly dropped to the beach. Acacia and Naomi took off their shoes and ran into the lake, obviously not caring about their clothes getting wet. I followed them into the lake. Luckily my cybernetics were water proof or else I would've been fried. We all splashed and laughed, until we heard voices.
"I love the lake. Don't you Gary?"
"Yeah I, but I still can't believe that no one swims in it. We should swim in it Jake."
Acacia hurried to get out. She shook her wings then, motioned for us to come. Naomi climbed inside the basket. We both grabbed an edge of the basket and flew away, just as Gary and Jake got to the lake. Naomi almost laughed, but Acacia punched her in the arm. We all flew back to the house.
"I have to tell my "mom" that my real parents found me and I'm going to live with them." Acacia said. She pulled out her phone and dialed a number,"Hi it's Kat......... Well I'm not coming home....... my real parents found me........... yes I know I was adopted....... ok.... bye"
I looked at her. She smiled. Suddenly I became frustrated so, I whistled again.
"Why are you whistling?" Naomi asked me.
"You'll see." I replied.
A hard knock came from the door. I opened the door, hoping it was what I whistled for. I opened the door. There is was! My pet has come! When I came to Earth I had hid it so no one would take it and experiment on it.
My pet, which I named Spike, looked like a dog. It had hooked claws on the back of each paw. On the end of it's tail, there was a spike ball. It also has razor sharp teeth that stuck slightly out of it's mouth. Spike also has a curved horn right behind his floppy ears. I still don't know if it's actually a girl or a boy.
I let Spike into the house. When Acacia saw him she recognized him and he recognized her. Naomi screamed as though he was a spider. Spike walked up to Naomi and licked her.
"What is that thing!?!" She yelled.
"Spike. He doesn't come from Earth or Terra." I answered.
Spike sat down and looked at Naomi with his big eyes. She slowly bent down to pet him. Spike licked her hand with his big purple tongue.
"EWWWWW!!!!"
Acacia started laughing as Naomi wiped her hand on Spike's white fur. Then, I laughed as he jumped up and licked her on the nose. Naomi pushed him off her and ran off into the bathroom. Acacia and I laughed.
"I thought you could control him." Acacia said
"I can." I smiled at her.
