I was so happy that Acacia found her power. Vin was happy too. Acacia had built us an awesome fort. She had thickened some grass blades and wove them together to make a fort.
"Oh hey gu-" Mason had entered the fort without asking.
He looked at Acacia and Vin.
"WHAT ARE YOU?!" Mason yelled.
"Calm down Mason!" I replied.
That's when I realized how cool my brother looked. He was tall, with shaggy black hair. He was muscular and tan. He looked nothing like me I was still tall, 5' 11", but I had boys cut, orange-red hair. I wasn't very muscular either, I was lanky. I didn't know why Vin liked me so much.
"What do you mean they're just aliens."
"What do you mean Just aliens!?"
"Well they come from a different planet, therefore making them aliens."
"I get that , but what are they doing here?"
"Well this is Kat, otherwise known as Acacia." I pointed to Acacia. "And this is Vindosile, but we call him Vin. He used to be Jayden."
"Ummm.... ok"
We all laughed. Acacia grew trees in front of the entrance so no one could get in.
We all sat in silence for a while. Then, Vin started drawing something in the dirt. Acacia cleared the grass so Vin could draw. He drew a circle then, an oval. After that, he drew a small circle inside the big circle.
"Ok so the big circle is Earth. The oval is the spaceship. The small circle is what we need to build." Vin said. "What we need to build is a giant flare."
"How do we build a giant flare?" I asked.
"We just have to... figure it out." Vin replied.
"Oh 'cuz that will be so easy." Acacia said.
Vin gave her a dirty look. I didn't know what to say. This was going to be hard to do, but we had to do it for Acacia.
