I stared at Vin, "I... um..."
"Naomi" Vin said softly, "You said you loved me."
I quickly made up my mind, "Well I do."
"I love you too Naomi." He whispered
We sat in awkward silence for a while. Mason and Acacia climbed through the window.
"Hey guys!" Acacia said. She was sitting really close to Mason.
I raised my eyebrows at her, "So what were you guys doing while we were talking?"
"Talking." Mason replied very innocently.
I looked at him stubbornly, "Ok fine! Acacia passed out again so I sat by her until she woke up."
"Again!" Vin yelled.
"Is that an issue?" Mason asked.
"Of course it is!" I exclaimed.
"Maybe she's one of the special ones." Vin said quietly.
"The special ones?" Acacia questioned.
"Some people on Terra have two powers. They're known as the special ones. They're destined for greatness."
"What could my second power be?" Acacia inquired.
"The blackouts?" I asked Vin.
"Maybe. Acacia what did you see when you blacked out?"
"Ummm..... let me think. The first time I saw an army camp and another alien came in and told me to go to a tent. When I got there I saw Naomi and she talked to me then...... died. This time I saw a cave and I found a letter from someone named Queen Liliah. I went deeper in the cave and found the alien that told me where Naomi's tent was. He was dying and I helped him. I think."
"How about you try and concentrate on the future."
"Why?"
"That may be your other power."
Acacia closed her eyes tightly and pursed her lips in concentration. Then, she fell limp on the ground. When she woke up, she told us that she saw something and would tell us if it actually happened. It started to get dark outside. Acacia grew some soft beds. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I fell asleep.
