It is a promise ring. If you don't know what a promise ring is, it's a ring that holds a promise. Pretty self explanatory haha. It can be used for multiple things. In this case, it's that in four years, wherever they are, even if they're still not together,Cami and Marcel will meet up.
If things are still going well between them after four years, maybe more (if their relationship works out) they want to get married. Not necessarily in four years. It could be ten years. It is not officially an engagement. Just a promise to each other.
