"Ugh, watching TV is boring. Let's go on a date somewhere." Kellin .was flipping through channels on the television with his arm around me. I was leaning against his shoulder comfortably. "What babe, just being around me isn't entertaining enough for you?" "Oh shut up,Y/N, you know what I mean!" I giggle playfully. I like to mess with him. I'm not one to take things very seriously, which Kellin has learned over time. He fights back when we banter, which makes things pretty entertaining and lighthearted.
"Well, how about a movie?"
"A movie? Hm...so you basically wanna go and watch a giant TV? That makes perfect sense considering how boring watching TV is."
"...Well movies are more entertaining, and there's no need to flip through channels."
"True." He smiles in victory. I stifle laughter and look up at him. "So, Kellin, what if you get bored of the movie? We could always go up in the projection room and have our own fun...or will you suggest that we head home and watch TV?" He glances at me, and I have a big smirk on my face. "I win," I saw with pride.
"Oh, you're gonna pay." My eyes widen and I try to run, but he grabs me around the waist. He starts tickling me all over, knowing i'm extremely ticklish. "Kellin, please!" I laugh uncontrollably as he continues to tickle me. We're both laughing by the time Kellin stops and pulls me close to him. He kisses my cheek and I nuzzle up against him. "What movies are out, sweetie?"
He shrugs. "I dunno. Check on your phone."
I sit up.
"Oh, so you wanna go watch the big TV instead of watching this small TV because you're so bored, but I have to find the movies? Hmph. I see how it is." I turn away with my arms crossed, pretending to be annoyed. He wraps his arms around my waist from behind. "...Don't make me start again, Y/N. You know that the tickler always wins."
We decide on The Conjuring, though I was not very thrilled. I hate scary movies, but Kellin was so excited that it was still out. I decided to bite the bullet and choose it. He's practically jumping up and down while we walk into the theater.
"Excited to pee your pants, much?" I laugh nervously, trying to hide how terrified I am. "Oh, it's gonna be so worth it. Trust me."
I let out a sigh and we find seats in the middle of the theater. As the lights start to dim, he puts his arm around me. "Ooh, it's starting!!"
I nod and look down. I may be in the theater, but that doesn't mean I have to actually watch the movie.
I keep glancing up at the screen and at him throughout the movie, and the grin on his face is huge. My heart is pounding out of terror, but I'm still happy that he's loving the movie so much. The movie suddenly gets quiet, and I look up as the theater goes silent. As I watch, I hold on to Kellin tighter, and he shakes his head and looks down at me. As something happens on the screen, people in the theater start to scream, including me. Kellin wraps his arms around me and holds me close to him. "It's okay, I love you. It'll be okay, Y/N, I love you." He continues to whisper in my ear as I shake. He finally lets go of me and stands up, holding his hand out for me. I look up at him confused, but I take his hand. He walks me into the aisle, then picks me up bridal style and takes me out of the theater. He sets me down in the lobby. "Babe...why did you...?"
"I'm so sorry, Y/N. that wasn't fair to you. I don't care how excited I was for that movie. I don't want you to have to suffer through a horror movie-or anything that you don't want to-just because I want to do it."
"Kellin, I love you. I was trying to be strong for you. So you could be happy.""YOU make me happy, Y/N. Happier than any movie or anything. And you always will."
I smile at him. "I love you, Kellin."
"I love you too, Y/N." He brushes my brown hair out of my face and kisses my passionately, holding my face in his hands. I blush and hug him. "...So, not so tough now, are you Miss Sarcasm?"
"Oh my gosh." I say rolling my eyes.
"Hey babe... Wanna go up in the projection room now?" Kellin said winking.
