"I.....never knew" Nakamura lowly murmured.

"Yato still thinks he's alive somehow" the chief commented.

"He is and I know it, I couldn't hear his last words were but I'm sure it was a message telling me he'd be back" I stood my ground.

"Sure picked a way to come back, didn't he?" the chief spat.

"It's not him, Jimmy would never do something like this" I retorted.

"I couldn't agree more, let's catch this guy ASAP!" the chief yelled, changing the subject.

"Thank God...the tension was about to break the windows" Nakamura sighed to himself.

"Let's go Nakamura, we don't have all day" I called out.

Grabbing the door and twisting the nob led to a perfect sync with the lock and the chief's computer.

"An email" I growled, slamming the door closed once more.

"Long time no see, Uncle Paul, let's have a blast together" the E-mail read with a few hearts and some pictures of Jimmy with the chief together. The chief and I stood shocked.

"Uncle? Was Jimmy your nephew?" Nakamura asked.

"By blood, he was nothing to me but his father was Chief prior. When I heard his son was becoming a detective I took him under my wing" the chief explained.

"No one but Jimmy called me that, only a few even knew about my connection to him, I liked keeping it secret so it didn't look like special treatment."

"And these pics? Jimmy's just a kid" I remarked, noticing his smile, the same type of smile he gave me in his room the night he "died".

"I remember like it was yesterday, I was invited to join them at the beach, that's the first time I met Jimmy" The chief reminisced.

"Even back then, he thought being like his father was his dream job."

"How did scum like this guy get these!?" the chief yelled, slamming his desk. As his dripped over the table another E-mail came in.

"So Yato is #1 now? Well, let's put that to the test. I'll give you a riddle, solve it and head to the answer's location. I will then text you the next riddle, there will be a total of three riddles and after you solve all three you'll know where to find me. You got three hours 'till me and the kids get....bored.....good luck."

"Sick bastard!" the chief roared. "We'll get on this immediately!"

I smiled as I gave a quick chuckle, "I've always hated riddles."

My phone went off and I saw a text from "Jimmy".

"This is to test your skill as a detective so you have to do it solo, any help from anyone and I'll get bored very quickly. Now first riddle!

"I don't have eyes, but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I'm white and empty, what am I?"

"Solo? But I have to help!" Nakamura argued.

"If you want to help go scout the city with the rest and see if you can find anything" I calmly shot him down.

We locked eyes for a few moments before he gave in.

"Very well, good luck, Yato, if anyone could do this, you can!"

"I'll save those kids....no matter what!" I assured him and myself as I got in my car and began to think.

"Making a mockery of Jimmy's name like this! It pisses me off! Wherever Jimmy is, he wouldn't stand for this and neither will I!" I yelled, trying to let off some steam.
