Chapter 6

We sat in the waiting room at the doctor and waited. Aaron still smiled widely and kissed my cheek from time to time. "What did your parents say?", he asked after some minutes. I looked at him and my smile disappeared. "I didn't tell them yet...", I said quietly. "What? Why? I mean, they're your parents and they have a right to-" "No.", I interrupted him. "No, they don't have a right to know. They always treated me bad and never were proud of me when I did something good... I didn't talk to them since I moved to London four years ago and I never want again..." He looked at me with concern in his eyes. "How did they treat you bad?", he asked. I just shook my head and looked at my hands. He leaned forward and kissed my hair. "So don't tell them. It sounds like they don't deserve you as a daughter." I looked at him and smiled slightly. "What will your parents say?", I asked quietly.
He took a deep breath and leaned back. "I don't know... they will probably say, that we don't know each other enough for having a baby..." He looked at me and wiped away a strand of my hair. "But they have to accept, that this baby exists and that I want to raise it with its mother.", he said smiling and kissed me gently. I smiled slightly and he took my hands in his. "And to be honest... I'm a bit more worried about my manager..." I looked at him and started to worry. "Your manager?" He nodded and looked at me. "Elin is... sometimes a bit complicated... But I'm sure after she met you, she will love you. Just like I do.", he said smiling and kissed me again. "So... you think it'll be alright?", I asked him. "It will be perfect.", he replied and kissed my hand.
"And do you want to have a boy or a girl?", I asked and looked at him. "Hm... good question... to be honest I'd love to have a little Scar.", he said and smiled. I giggled and kissed him. "And you?" I shrugged. "I just want the baby to be healthy... but... a girl would be amazing..." He smiled and kissed me again. "Scarlett Lincoln?", I heard the doctor's assistant. We both looked up at her. "We're ready for you.", she said smiling. I looked at Aaron and smiled widely. "Let's meet our baby.", I said and got up.
