I woke up in the morning when Aaron started turning again. I groaned and turned to look at him. He was even more sweaty than he was last night and he started murmuring something. "Aaron?", I asked carefully and wanted to lay my hand on his shoulder. He turned and groaned loudly. "Aaron, wake up...", I said and started shaking him him lightly. "Hey... Come on...", I whispered. "No... Don't...!", he murmured. I knelt on top of him, grabbed his shoulders, they were wet from the sweat and shook him more. "Aaron, wake up! Please...!" I saw tears pouring down his cheek and my eyes filled with tears immediately. This pregnancy turned me into a crying bunch of nerves.
"Aaron! Wake up!!", I screamed loudly and shook him again. "No!", he screamed, but finally opened his eyes. He looked at me with wide opened eyes and he was panting. "Scar?", he whispered, I could tell, that he was confused. I looked at him for a moment, then I pulled him up and wrapped my arms tightly around him.
He didn't move for a moment, I just held him, trying to show him, that he was safe and that it was just a dream. He eventually laid his arms around my waist and buried his face in my chest. I stroked his hair and kissed his sweaty forehead. "It was just a dream.", I whispered. "Just a bad dream, it's over now..." He squeezed me tightly and sobbed quietly. We sat there for some more moments, then I slowly let him go and looked at him. I wiped a strand of his hair from his sweaty forehead. "Are you okay?", I asked whispering. He looked at me and nodded slightly. I stroked over his cheek and kissed him gently. He pulled me even closer and deepened the kiss. I broke the kiss and looked at him. "Don't. Tell me, what you were dreaming about.", I said quietly. Tears filled his eyes again. I looked into his eyes, they were shimmering blue with tears in it. I leaned down and kissed him again. I felt like that was the only way to distract him in that moment. To show him that I was there...
