My life had changed completely.
I had a family! This was just amazing. And so unreal.
Everyday I woke up I had the feeling I was just dreaming. Sometimes I also wished that I was.
That thing with my mom was just so much pain for all of us, not only me.
But now she was gone.
And weirdest thing was, I didn't even care. She was so horrible to me, I never wanted to see her again nor let her come near me or my family and now she couldn't anymore.
Finally all that drama, the pain was over, gone. We were free, happy.
And the speckles? They were just perfect little kids. They were calm, they only screamed when they were hungry or missed us. So we took them to our bed and laid them between us. Then they immediately calmed down again and smiled at us. There was nothing in this world, that made me happier than them. They meant everything to me, they were my world, together with Aaron.
My family.
And of course Aaron's parents were part of it as well. They became my parents as well and I couldn't imagine better parents.
When the twins were almost two months old, Nat and George visited us. They couldn't wait to finally meet the little miracles who carried their names. Nat saw them and just started squealing and crying, because they were so cute. She decided that she wanted to have kids as well together with her boyfriend Francis.
And George had a smile growing from one cheek to the other.
Aaron and I couldn't be happier. We loved each other more and more every day. We decided to stay in New York a bit longer until the speckles were old enough and then move out.
We didn't decide where we'd go yet, but we would find a nice place.
Maybe London? Paris? Maybe also Rome where we met?
We had so many possibilities, but we also had to be careful because of Aaron's job. We still had to time to decide, we wanted to wait until the speckles were at least 6 months old. So still 2 months for planning.
One very special night I sat on Aaron's lap, my legs laid around his body. We smiled at each other, wearing nothing but our wedding rings.
He stroked my cheek and kissed me gently.
"I love you so much, Aaron Tveit.", I whispered smiling.
"And I love you, Scarlett Tveit."
He smiled and kissed me gently, before loving me the first time as his wife.
