Annabelle has gotten herself into quite a mess. She and Daniel have had the perfect fairytale romance except for one part. They have never met in person. Having first come across each other on Wattpad, their love grew between comments, private messages, and stories written personally for each other.
But Annabelle, a former model, is concerned about vanity. She wants to be continually loved for who she is, not for what she looks like. And so she decides to switch places with her sister, the one with the cleft palate. But there is one thing she didn't anticipate. Maybe it's not Daniel who's love will be tested. Maybe it is hers, for she is more attracted to Daniel's friend than she is to Daniel.
This light-hearted modern fairy tale involves romance, false identity, and characters so ridiculous, you may find yourself laughing out loud. Filled with multiple allusions to classic stories, this is not a retelling of any one tale, but involves multiple tropes and perceptions over what it means to have a fairytale ending. (Because we can just pretend our ancestors didn't enjoy telling their kids extremely gruesome and morbid tales.)
