Flint glared at Aria and whispered harshly, "I thought I wouldn't have to fight again. Now I have to train for it all over again!"
"Hush, we'll figure it out." Aria said trying to calm him.
Blood Moon had been instantly shushed by Flint's words and listened in on their conversation. He cocked his head to one side, "You, Benzedrine's eldest son, don't want to fight?" Flint shook his head in response.
"Then how will you be a valuable asset to The Storm" Blood Moon inquired.
"I've always hoped to be a medic." Flint said hopefully.
"Do you have any medical knowledge?"
Flint nodded.
"Okay, once... What's your name?"
"Flint."
"Once Flint has successfully passed the lie detector, he will be sent to Criminal to begin training with him instead. But, someone will still have to monitor him. I will send Drone to watch their training sessions."
Flint's eyes glowed with excitement.
"Continuing on," Blood Moon started. "I will need you to fill out the forms for all of your family members." He stated looking pointedly at Aria, who nodded. "First, I will need all of your names and then Ray will lead you to the lie detectors. Where you will have your initiation ceremonies afterwards." The children all went in the order from which they were sitting in to tell Blood Moon their names. Blood Moon smiled warmly at all of them and signaled Ray to take them. Fay held on tightly to Aria's hand, but Aria was able to convince her to leave with her other siblings. Blood Moon's previously warm eyes glazed over. "We need to talk about Rowan." Aria looked around in confusion to see Kid nodding his brother on and Radio staring at his leader with a sense of urgency. Blood Moon sat down and Kid moved to be next to him.
"Rowan was Benzedrine's wife before the Persistent Invasion. But, once she realized what her husband was truly doing, she escaped into The Storm with us. She had abandoned her children and husband to escape into our old base where we raised two daughters."
"Who're your daughters?" Flint interrupted.
"One of my daughters was kidnapped by Benzedrine and raised as his own. The other I had to convince some of my closest friends to adopt for her protection. Radio and Skater agreed to take in The Girl as their own."
Girl's already doe eyes widened. Radio watched her sadly. But, Girl didn't say anything. Just sat quietly in the corner.
"Benzedrine had found out about his wife's location and she died in The Persistence base. He was left with his biological children and a stolen girl. To this day, I'm not sure what became of her. But, I heard rumours that he remarried and forced his followers to believe that she was Rowan." Blood Moon paused. "And that's it."
The Girl walked calmly out of the room with Radio following behind her. Blood Moon hung his head and began to leave the room with Kid patting his back. Until Aria spoke up, "Wait." She began. "So, it could be any of us? Faye, Bow, Lethalia, Leela?"
Blood Moon nodded, "Or you." He walked out of the room and Aria sat back down, dumbfounded. Flint helped her back up and led her and the other siblings out of the room. Aria would occasionally give her brother directions and, eventually, they were at her dorm with Lyric, Melody, Rain and Jet. But when they entered, only Jet was inside. Flint nodded in recognition of the other person in the room and Aria attempted at a wave. "What if it's Lethalia?" Aria whispered with fear. "She'd kill her own father without a second thought."
"Okay, let's sit down now. Think it through." Flint said as Jet exited the room. "The scary guy never said how long Rowan was with The Storm. So, we have to use logic. It can't be Lethalia because she's the oldest and he said that Benzedrine and Rowan had kids before she escaped. And it can't be Arrow, Asher or me since he said he had two daughters, not a son." Aria took in a relieved breath. "It was probably someone closest to Girl's age. Not Leela or Bow, they're too young."
"So it's.,." Aria began, but stopped herself.
"Faye or... you." Flint finished.
