The movie ended when the DVD skipped to the ending credits, no one seemed to mind because no one had been paying much attention to what was going on. Most of the Candy had disappeared, Louise had gotten into a fight with an older boy named Logan, Tammy was off in a corner texting someone on her phone, Tina herself was trapped in an awkward conversation with Jimmy.Jr.
"What are you supposed to be?" He asked.
"Oh I'm a unicorn, see this is my horn." She pointed to her headband as if pointing out the obvious. "I-uh like your costume, are you a zombie or something?"
"No I'm Michael Jackson from Thriller."
"Oh...well isn't he a zombie in that?"
"I guess, yeah."
The awkwardness ended the same time the movie did, and with the help of Louise shouting to everyone in the room.
"THIS PARTY IS BOOOORRRRIIINNGGG! Come on people what are we doing down here let's go upstairs!" Lousie pulled on her costumes ears as she often did when she was frustrated.
"My dad said to stay down here and not bother him, it's kinda fun...sorta" Rudy said, it was obvious he didn't believe himself.
"No for once rabbit girl is right!" Tammy walked out of the corner and into the middle of the room. "This place is lame and boring and I really wished I had stayed home."
"Why don't we just tell ghost stories or something?" Rudy suggested.
Louise rolled her eyes. "Uuggghh! No thank you, ghost stories are kinda dumb.""Why not, are you scared?" Logan taunted, leaning in a little to close to Louise, she pushed quickly pushed him away.
"PPpppfffff, me scared? I don't think so."
"Prove it!" The boy challenged. Tina watched as her sister and Logan fought, the two had some kind of rivalry going on that Tina didn't completely understand, than again Logan wasn't exactly the easiest person to like.
"Okay Logan." Louise said crossing her arms. "I'll listen to your dumb ghost stories, but why not make it interesting If I don't get scared you owe me twenty dollars!"
"If I win then you owe me twenty dollars!"
"Deal!" Louise exclaimed. "This is gonna be to easy!"
"I kinda wanted to go upstairs." Andy complained.
"I go wherever Andy goes!" Ollie added it, the two twins held each others hands.
"Aawwwww really?" Louise cooed in a phony-nice voice. "WELL TO BAD! SIT DOWN!"
Everyone sat in a messy circle , surrounded by candy wrappers that littered the cold floor.
"Hey Tammy where are you going?" Jimmy.Jr asked, the entire group turned to see Tammy halfway up the stairs.
Tammy stopped in her tracks as if she were a deer caught in the headlights. "Oh-uh I need to go to the bathroom, like really bad!" She said then rushed off before anyone could say anything else.
It was quiet for a few moments before Logan broke the silence. "So, I guess I'll go first." The boy cleared his throat before beginning. "Okay so like-once there was this family who moved into a new house, it was really cheap because everyone who moved in always left a few weeks later, sometimes they would just run off and abandon it and once someone had even tired to burn it down!"
Louise faked a yawn, trying to emphasis her boredom.
The boy gave her an annoyed look before continuing. "So during the first week they moved in the oldest kid, heard noises at night coming from inside the walls. At first he thought if was a squirrel or something, but then he began hearing voices also coming from inside the walls."
