  "You what?"

This had all began to be way too entirely much for me. First they tell me they're demon hunters, then they tell me, they know my dad.

"We've known him for a while." Cameron said after noticing my silence.
"Let me get this straight." I said sitting up. "You've known my dad for a while now, and you've never thought that maybe I'd like to... I don't know. MEET HIM?" I said in anger. I was furious.
I hadn't seen my dad since I was 7, and god knows that I would've given anything to be with him other than my pitiful excuse for a mother. Why of all things keep this a secret? I understand the demon thing, but my father? He didn't even show up to my own wedding.
"We weren't allowed to tell you Mack." Cameron stated.
"He's right." A man stepped into Alex's apartment. He was tall and had brown hair much like mine. He spoke deeply, yet his words were smooth, and he gave off the vibe of peace. "It was too dangerous, Kenzie."
"Dad?" I questioned. The tall man nodded, and stepped closer to me. Cameron smiled as if he'd been waiting a long time for this moment.
"It's been a while my love, I know, and I am so terribly sorry." He opened his arms for me come into him. He welcomed me into his embrace, and I let go. Of all the anger I was feeling, of all the hard thoughts, I had, had for him in the past for leaving. I let go.
I felt the tears stream down my face, but I wasn't upset or sad, I was relieved. Relieved that I actually still had a father, that he cared, that he was here and alive.
"I'm sorry that I wouldn't let Cameron or Alex tell you. They both begged me, but It wasn't the right time." The sorrow filled his face, and as angry as I had been, I hadn't felt anything anymore but pure joy that I had a father.
After the small reunion I had with my father and my other boys, we continued to talk as I learned more and more about him. I had never realized all of the things that happened.
"So it runs in the family right? Does that mean I'm bred to be a hunter too?" I asked my dad.
"Yes, but I never wanted that life for you."
  "So you left?"
"Yes but with good intentions Kenzie. I never imagined your mother would have treated you like she did." He said the same sorrow filling his voice. I glanced over at Cameron and Alex who sat patiently listening to everything. They already knew all of this, they just wanted to undergo the process of reliving with me.
"But now, I feel that I should've better prepared you. I should've trained you, because you can't run from this life. It finds you, in all ways." My father continued. I listened intently soaking up every bit of information possible.
"how did you know these two?" I asked curiously.
He smiled, and gazed at both of them as if they were his own.
"They're father is my best friend, a fellow Hunter himself. He trained them. That's why Cameron's mother of course was a little crazy about Cameron being a hunter. She never really enjoyed the life too much, and she did everything she could to get out." He said.
We all decided we should head back to my apartment , considering the time. Alex asked to spend the night and I agreed due to the fact that Calex would be 10x as hard to get to sleep now, that she had taken a nap while we were gone. Alex, Cameron, and Calex sat in the floor playing go-fish.
I watched as Cameron, was seriously angry about losing and I laughed.
"That boy loves you so much." My dad said smiling at Cameron who now pouted about losing the children's card game. "He knew it would hurt your feelings if he hid it from you, but he obeyed me."
  "He's amazing, dad."
"Oh I know trust me, he's saved my butt a few too many times, and he's taken care of you all these years." He remarked.
"He's going to be a good father." I stated. I had forgotten my dad didn't know I was pregnant. Of all things to know about Cameron now, he had to know that he got his little girl pregnant.
"Are you?..." He asked his voice trailing.
"Yeah.. It's his. I went to the doctor yesterday. It's a girl. I'm further along than they thought." I placed my hand on my stomach. How unbelievable it was to think that a baby, was growing inside of me, something made out of pure love.
"I'm happy for the both of you." He said still watching the two boys and Calex. "I'm glad you have someone like him." His face turned bitter for a moment, and he looked me dead in the eyes.
"I'm sorry I wasn't at your wedding kiddo."
I could see the hurt in his eyes. He was truly upset about not being able to come, and I gave him a weake smile.
  "It's alright", I said. "You're here now."
