Kylie pov
It had been one long month since August broke things off with me. He changed his phone number and got his locks changed. Why was he doing this all of a sudden? My heart was broken, but I was trying to move past it.
I sat at the house with Paisley. She was helping me figure out what I should do next. I don't live with her anymore like I had been, I'd gotten myself a one bedroom apartment. It was nice and spacious. It was also very comfy.
"You should move on. Fuck him. If hr can just quit you like that and act like he don't want nothing to do with you after you did nothing wrong, then he ain't shit." Paisley said as she brought me a glass of wine.
I sighed taking in what she said. I sipped my wine and let my face form into the blank, bitter expression it had gotten uses to for the past few weeks. To say I was finished with relationships was an understatement. Niggas really ain't shit.
"Thanks for the advice and the wine. I'm gonna go home and get in my bed. Shit, I hope I'm not too drunk to drive." I said getting up off the couch.
"Girl its okay. You can spend the night here or I'll call you an uber. Cause you not going nowhere drunk." She said.
"I can drive. I promise." I said before gathering my things and going to my car. I got inside and sat started up the ignition.
I was half way home when the wine really hit me. My vision was blurry and everything moved in slow motion. All I remember was hearing a horn and seeing bright lights and then hearing a bang. It all happened so fast.
I woke up to my head throbbing. I let out a groan and opened my eyes. The bright lights caused my head to hurt even more. I let out a sob and tried to cover my face. Once my body adjusted, I realized I was in the hospital. I looked around confused. I don't even know what happened.
"How are you?" A white nurse said poking her head into the room.
"Uh...great. How did I get here?" I asked.
"Well, you were in a car accident. You had the right away, but the driver was in a hurry. The driver is okay, but your car flipped over and you flew out and landed a couple feet away. You didn't get hurt too bad. Nothing life changing, but you so have some perminant scars. Thank god you didn't lose the baby." The doctor said.
"The what now?" I asked in shock.
"Ms. Loclville, you're pregnant." She said.
"Oh my god." I mouthed.
If I was pregnant, than who was the father?
"How far along am I?" I asked.
"About two months." She said.
My jaw dropped. I was only with August two months ago. Oh my gosh. We- well I'm going to be somebody's baby momma and he is going to have a child by somebody he doesn't even want in his life. Why even trouble him with it? Maybe I just keep the baby to myself for now. Just until I decide if its a good idea to tell him or not.
