Jude woke up and realized that it was the day. Championships were later that night and she had to go to school and actually focus on other things. It was a complete joke, but Jude went anyways.

She got to school and she could tell that everyone was pumped. People in all of her classes wished her a good game, telling her how excited they were to watch it. She wasn't sure if she wanted the whole school there. It would just add more pressure to the team. She also wasn't sure she wanted the whole school to watch the team loose, if that were to be the outcome.

She couldn't focus in any one of her classes. Somehow, her thoughts drifted to the plays that they had set for tonight. Her adrenaline kept running high as she walked through the halls, hugging her books to her chest.

When she got to lunch, she walked to her locker to put her books away. She had to put her combination in more than once. Her head hurt because her mind kept racing and her chest hurt because her heart wouldn't stop breaking every time she thought of losing. As she finally put her book on the top shelf, she closed the door to see Harry walking up to her.

"Hey," He said. She really hadn't talked to him since that morning she woke up in his room.

"Oh, hey," Jude pursed her lips. She didn't want things to be awkward, but she really didn't know what to say to him.

"I just wanted to wish you good luck tonight," Harry smiled at her. He was always such a charming guy.

"Thanks," Jude smiled back.

"Are you nervous?" he asked.

"Uh, yeah... I'd say that," Jude stifled a laugh.

"Well don't be, you're gonna kick ass. Maybe literally," Harry joked.

"Oh, funny," Jude rolled her eyes as she giggled.

"But really, you're a great player... so what ever happens tonight, don't worry about it."

"Thanks," she smiled.

"Oh, hey Luke," Harry looked past Jude.

"Hello, Styles," he said dryly.

"I heard what happened, I hope you're doing okay?" Harry asked genuinely.

"Never been better," Luke's tone remained plain.

"I didn't know you were coming to school," Jude said to Luke as he put his arm around her.

"Well, I'll be at the game tonight," Harry backed up as he spoke. "See you then."

"Bye," Jude waved. She was impressed with how well Harry handled that. If he felt nervous, he showed no sign of it.

"How are you feeling?" Jude asked Luke.

"Eh, better. I wanted to get my homework. I'm not here for classes," he explained.

"Are you going to sit at lunch?"

"Yeah, I thought I could stay and hang out," he shrugged.

When they walked into the cafeteria, the mood felt like the hype in High School Musical when the Wildcats had their big game day. Jude smiled at all of the people who wished the two of them luck as they walked to their table. The boys and Setha sat there, talking about the team. Jude could see it in Ashton's eyes that he was nervous. He decided to fill in for Luke, but he expressed to her before he made the decision how scared he would be that he lost all his skills while coaching.

"Jude, do you remember the goalie from the team we're playing tonight?" Michael asked. "We played the team last year and he punched Lenny in the face?"

"That asshole?" Jude laughed. "What about him?"

"I guess he's defense now or something because they got a better goalie," Michael explained.

"It's about time because he sucked," Calum stated.

"Alright, Cal, lets be realistic here," Michael looked at his friend. "He was actually pretty good."

Calum just shook his head, not responding.

"Well, either way, they're good. So we're gonna have a hell of a game tonight," Jude sighed.

"Are you worried?" Calum asked.

"Are you not?" Rett piped in.

"I can't say right now. Too early," he responded with a shrug.

"Lets stay positive," Ashton said to everyone. "As long as we play our best, it doesn't matter."

Everyone stayed silent before laughing at his statement.

"Alright, dad," Michael teased.

"Where'd you park your minivan?" Rett joined in.

"I'm surprised your not wearing your jean shorts," Calum patted Ashton's shoulder.

"Fuck you all, I hope you trip and slam your face into the ice," Ashton shook his head, trying not to laugh along.

"Hey! I thought we were staying positive!" Jude threw her hands up.

"Yeah, get a load of this guy," Michael continued. "Negative Nelly over here."

Jude couldn't help but laugh, it was the only thing she could do to not slam her head against the table to get rid of her nerves.
