Jude sat in her basement with Luke's head on her lap. She ran her fingers through his hair as he fell asleep well over ten minutes ago. Setha laid on the other side of the long couch and Ashton sat on his phone. Calum and Michael were up stairs, probably getting food, and she just sat, looking around at her friends.

Her thoughts ran over ever detail of her life so far. She was so happy in this moment. She was so lucky that Luke was hers and she was so lucky that she was doing what she wanted to do. It took her so long to realize that she had an amazing group of friends, but she knew it wouldn't last forever.

She kept thinking of the future and how Ashton and Daniel would be graduating soon, leaving them to take over the team. That scared her most of all. So many things could happen between now and the start of the new year. They were not even sure if they would win championships.

The thought made her wince. She wished to not think of that, but she couldn't help it.

"Can we go up to your room?" Luke mumbled to her.

"Yeah," she whispered. He got up and led her to her room. He moved the blanket back and pulled her on to the bed with him. She kissed him softly before he closed his eyes again. He pulled her closer and soon she turned around so they were spooning.

She knew she could lay like this forever.

The next day, Luke was still in her bed and she smiled at the thought.

She pushed through school until she sat next to him at lunch. She appreciated that everything was back to normal. Luke still took her chips, Michael said gross remarks, Rett threatened him, and everyone laughed. Things were great.

Later on in the date, they were scheduled to the weight room. Jude really did not hate much in her life, but lifting weights was something at the top of her list. She decided to spend her time at the punching bag in the corner of the room. She blasted Red Hot Chili Peppers in her head phones as she punched away at the bag. She could slightly hear the music they played through the speakers, but didn't want to listen to what they had to play.

She stopped to take a breather and looked over at Luke and Calum. They were both doing push ups right across from each other. Each time they pushed up, they would high five each other. Jude laughed at the sight and blushed, thinking of how attractive Luke looked while all sweaty.

"I think you're drooling," Michael pulled an earphone out as he walked by.

She balled her fists up and motioned to punch him but he made an inhumane noise, cowering and running away. She couldn't help but laugh as he watched his back while walking away from her.

Soon, Luke got up and walked over to Jude. She still tried to catch her breath after pushing herself. She hadn't had time to work with the punching bag in a long time.

"Why aren't you using the weights?" He asked, leaning up against the wall. He took a swig of his water bottle and licked his lips. She wanted to make out with him right then in there.

"Because I suck," she shrugged. She drank some of her water and went back to the bag. She continued with her work out and Luke held the bag for her. She tried not to get distracted by his arms which were showing on each side of the leather bag.

She finally took a deep breath and stopped.

"Tired already?" Luke asked.

"You're... Can you go away?" She pursed her lips. She looked at his sweaty arms and bit at the inside of her cheeks.

"I'm what?" He smirked.
