A bunch of roses were delivered the next morning to be placed by Leigh's grave, I headed off to set them there but an envelope slipped out addressed to Zak. I headed back up to find Liam and let him know I was heading to Zak's and he'll need to keep an eye on things.

"Just take care of the funeral, clean up after, and then lock up." I waved at Liam and got into my car, I searched up Zak's address and off I went.

After about 40minutes I arrived at a secure community, I knew Zak lived there. I walked up the drive way and waited to be buzzed in but thank goodness someone was walking out and I managed to slip by. I walked further down the lane way and found his house, the last house on the lot, it had shutters on every window making it seem like no one lived here but I could tell it was a sign of him not wanting any company.

I thought about just dropping off the letter and running away but as I laid down the letter the door knob turned and it opened.

"Tilly?" Zak stood stunned.

"I'm so sorry" I panicked. How creepy is this.

"Did you buzz or? How did you get in?" His face sneered up and he obviously didn't like me being here.

"I walked in um the gate was half open, sorry for intruding." I handed him the letter and started to walk away.

"What's this?" He called out.

"A letter. Some flowers were delivered and this letter for you popped out and I brought it to you" I stood frozen not knowing if I should run or stay.

"Ahh you wanna come in?" He hesitated.

"Are you sure?" Definitely didn't know whether to run or not.

"Yea sure," he opened his door and waited for me to come in. "Ladies first" he finally broke out a smile.

I walked in and his house was so dark, my eyes were finding it hard to adjust to this. I used my hands to guide me as I didn't want to ruin his place, I felt him grip my waist.

"This way" he hissed.

"Sorry it's so dark." I let him direct me and we ended up in his kitchen.

"I like it dark, if it's bright I can see it all" I didn't understand what he meant. Didn't he want to see?

I just nodded and sat in his poorly lit kitchen, he struggled with the letter.

"Fuck!" He thumped his hand down and turned on the lights and that's when I knew what he means; if it's bright he can see.

The walls were decorated with pictures of Leigh, the house looked barely touched. As if Zak didn't live here. I turned my head to see their wedding pictures and how much they were in love, I felt wrong being in this house.

"You sure do--"

"Tilly! How did you get this?" He bolted to me shoving the letter in my face, his body arched perfectly over me. This was all too much.

"W-what? The flowers were given to me and that's it" I struggled to answer him, Zak was very intimidating.

"Who?" He grunted again.

"I dunno! Please stop yelling" my lips trembled more as he continued to yell. I was scared of Zak but apart of me knew he was just as scared as me to open up.

"This doesn't make sense!" He pushed off me, kick a chair and threw a vase across the room. As it shattered my body jumped, I needed to get out of here.

I got up and decided to run but Zak's strong arm caught me by my stomach and flung me back. I could hear him grunt so I held my hands over my ears and closed my eyes.

"Tilly, I'm sorry" as he apologised to me I hummed so I couldn't hear him. I didn't want to see or hear it but I could feel it which was worse.

"Tilly!"

"Leave me alone! Don't hurt me!" I tugged away from him and fell on the ground. I grunted in pain as my rib cage caught the corner of the wall. "Shit!"

Zak's hands grabbed me and he picked me up in one quick motion, he carried me to the bench and lifted my top.

"No!" I pushed his fingers off my top, I refused to let Zak see as I didn't want him to look.

"Tilly let me look" he started to frown angrily so instead of him lashing out again I lifted my top. His cold fingers struck my rib cage and I squealed and he applied pressure. "It's bruising." He mumbled.

Soon his lips met my skin and he grazed them over my sore. As soon I felt them that's when I wanted in the bluntest way. I wanted his lips, his hands, his arms. I wanted him to infinity, to the millionth degree, no amount of water could douse the fire I had in me for him. I knew this was deadly.

He ran his hand up my body and he tangled his fingers in my hair before he pulled away and brought his lips to mine. There was a moment before the intertwined, where it felt the world stopped. There was anticipation between us, the urgency to have him but an intense moment of this was right or wrong.

We breathed heavily against one another not moving, hearing nothing but each other. Zak slowly then dropped his head and exhaled, I wrapped my arms around him quickly before he broke down.

"Tilly.. I uh"

"No. I gotta go" I pushed him away, grabbed my ribs and hopped down and ran for the door. This was all too much, it was so real and for me; my feelings were all too strong.
